Q: dose this wig shade a lot

I didn't wear this one, but when seen, there appeared to be no shedding. As with wigs, use the correct brush to maintain it longer. This is as described, a party wig. The lace amount is small and depending on complexion, tinting the part area could be needed. Hairs can be plucked to better match the person's head. It is a full cap- good for wearers with a lot of their own hair that need something stronger to keep their hair down with a cap better. Synthetics do not require additional hair products. Build up removes the shine and tangle the hairs unless it's intentional for texturing. Some people do not prefer the artificial super strait & super shine. With good care and not sleeping with it on, it can be worn off and on for weeks, or daily, gentle washing. Afterwards, with tangling, it could begin to shed as any other wig. Synthetics are meant to be disposable. It is a plus if working and want to protect your real hair and head from daily environmental exposures. I may order this again for myself.

Q: How does one maintain and improve the body wave curls of this wig?

Synthetics lack the flexibility of 100% human hair and there are more blended wigs nowadays, part hair, part synthetic or coated strands Adding products could damage the synthetic wig sooner. Try turning it upside down, give it a shake, letting it fall back to place when putting it on. Using an appropriate wig brush could help with volumizing but it could be best to buy a wig already designed to have more volume.

Q: How do i put the wig on with that little bit of lace

Use Bobby pins it always helps !
