I like the selection of components. I especially like the USB cable with the switch built-in. All of the hardware needed for the projects in the book, which must be downloaded, is there. The storage box is very convenient to keep everything in.What I did not like was having to download the book. eBooks are nice, but they are challenging to use while building and programming experiments.

Been looking all week for a bundle like this with everything the book recommended, and after having 3 carts from 3 sites ready to hit buy I stumbled upon this on Amazon. It's got literally everything, and the price isn't too bad either. The only downside is that this wasn't listed back when I started buying piece by piece, but the investment on those parts was negligible anyways.

The good:Plenty of components to build the projects featured in the official raspberry pi pico bookNo news to hand solder pins to pico as pins have been soldered to the board alreadyGood project box to keep things organizedMicro USB cable with power switch to make sure you disconnect the power when you work on the breadboardThe not so good:LCD isn't the serlcd featured in the book but seller has driver so you need to get the driver and not be confused by the book assuming a serlcdThe PIR sensor was broken and I had to have a return and exchange so make sure you open the sensor package and plastic dome to inspect the sensorOne part of the official book projects requires two PIR sensors but only one is included in the kit.Micro USB cable's power button can't show you whether the power is on or off. The push button doesn't tell you that. Just have to make a guess.Overall, the kit could be better but is sufficient.

Lots of great stuff to get started with. The included display did not work, but support responded quickly to resolve the issue. Overall great experience

A pre-soldered header and enough parts to get you up and learning basic MicroPython coding. The "book" is a joke. It's nothing more than a .pdf you download from Raspberry PI Pico's official website.
