Sony MDRXB55AP Wired Extra Bass Earbud Headphones/Headset with Mic for Phone Call, Black

Was so hesitant on buying these headphones to replace the same type I've had for years since they're discontinued. I recently purchased a fake pair on eBay and had to go through the process of a return and refund. Bit the bullet on these ones just cause I love the sound quality so much. These were new, legit, and came with everything my original black ones did. The only difference now is the color (blue) but I could care less. So so happy and thankful!! Worth every cent to me.

These earbuds are great. Clear bass at all levels that you would expect from earbuds. Great noise isolation, which is what I really needed for working at coffeeshops.But I'm not here to review the earbuds as much as the used seller: Saving On The Box / Ultimate Computer Repairs LLC out of Milwaukee.I have bought used products on Amazon for almost as long as Amazon has existed, and I can't recall a bad experience before this one. The packaging has a very clear arrangement to hold the earbuds and the cords to keep them neat and separated inside - but my headphones were scrunched into a tight ball and shoved in the bottom of the box, instead of wound with any care whatsoever to prevent the cord from bending or pinching and potentially breaking the wires inside. Somebody just shoved these earbuds in a space in the box and forced it back inside the packaging - did not take the few extra seconds or care to put any of it where it goes in the packaging.When I opened the back part of the packaging, there was a lovely white hair laying across the carrying pouch for the earbuds, and...no replacement earbud tips or additional sized-tips (not detailed in the used listing at all). Only tips are the ones on the earbuds, and considering the care taken in the rest of the package, I expect they haven't been cleaned at all since the previous owner, whose white hair I now have as a souvenir.Great earbuds. Buy with confidence - they work just as described. But I would never, ever trust this used seller again.

Expect a absolute mess for sound right out the gate, The very first set of earbuds I actually had to turn down which made the soundworse in quality because it was now dumbed down. Ok with that being said now for the positives and there is alot of them.Output these earbuds have alot of output with the design I suspect it was going for mid bass and low end which is definitely there but so muddied it's unlikely to ever enjoyably listened to without going in the opposite direction on the eq.Now for the fun stuff and full disclosure I use these ear buds with a lossless dac for my Samsung note 20 ultra and listen to Spotify.Ok tune the earbuds for the sound you want I spent hours tuning to my liking and omg definitely enjoyably because I knew if I could keep the output but tune the equalizer to tame what is shrill and muddied these would be fantastic and viola it happend in a hour or 2 listening to tracks I fully know how the sound is supposed to be and had a blast doing it so yes thumbs up when you can equalize the sound but if you can't well expect a hot mess happening in your ear canals but with some tweaking these sound fantastic and so worth the time to make the sound yours. And again lots and lots of output even equalizing so enjoy them making them yours

Had these for two years now. Sound quality is GREAT! I use them daily. I like how isolated everything sounds (maybe not producer-grade, but EXCELLENT for the average user!). They’ve gone with me in airplanes for trips to Asia two times and do enough noise canceling for sleep on planes. High quality - highly recommend!As a note, I try to not exercise often with these on because I think repeated motions stresses wired earbuds. My use is usually with a laptop or with my iPhone using a lightning adapter.

The sound is very nice, the color is pretty, and length is good. The only thing that I found bad about it is that when using an adapter for my samsung s20, when silent, the noise mutes, and when there is sound, it fades in, and it can get very annoying. Like for example when someone is talking and there is a pause, the next word he says will mute the first 1-2 letters of the word that person said. It's hard to explain but luckily I have an iphone 6s, which does have a headphone jack and works perfectly

Never actually "felt" bass from a headset before, even expensive ones.The sound seems so clean, so full of detail. Makes me actually feel the emotion in the music.I feel like I am listening to a high priced audiophile system - with a subwoofer, no less!Very light and comfortable! It stays in ear while running, does not slip out.It blocks out a lot of ambient noise.I went to bed with this headset on, and was able to sleep on my side (depends on the pillow too, I think, but this headset was not too uncomfortable for side sleeping.)Calls are crisp and clear as well. The mic works great. I asked, and the other party said they could hear me very well.The remote button can take calls and hang up.Pressing the remote button once can play/pause media.Pressing it twice moves to the next track.If it could also control the volume, this headset would be the gold standard of headsets.Not fair to take a star off for that, for the headset does not claim to control volume.
