Love the challenge of many pieces
I'm really enjoying constructing the White House. I'm 69 yrs old and tried Legos but they are too pricey so I bought this kit based on some reviews. This has been challenging and fun to see it take shape. The pieces are very tiny, half the size of a pencil eraser so be careful. If you have carpet good luck. I have hard surface floors and it's even difficult with them to find pieces I've dropped.I've completed about 7 of the 38 or so steps and so far the instructions have been good. It takes me longer to find the pieces in the bags, they are not labeled like Legos, then it does to place that layer. That will get better as I use more pieces and get them sorted out. Overall I'm very happy and I'm already planning to buy the US Capitol next.

College daughter loved it!
It’s tough to be adulting on Christmas morning. Still wanting things to “play with,” but not really at a toy place in life. This gift was perfect. It occupied much of her Christmas break and the finished product is so cool! It’s tedious and the pieces don’t snap together. This is not legos, but it’s great in its own way. I’d buy it again.

Fantastic!
I've become a little obsessed with these sets recently. When I first saw them pop up on Amazon I dismissed them as knockoff LEGO (and small LEGO at that), but after trying my first set, the Notre Dame de Paris, I really got into them. So far I've also built the Titanic, Taj Mahal, White House and Capitol building, which almost covers the entire DAFDAG line. One word of warning: these blocks are quite fiddly. If your vision isn't much good you might find their size frustrating. They're also very easy to lose, so I'd recommend building them somewhere you'll be able to find them when you inevitably drop a tiny block on the floor. The quality is excellent. After several sets I've not found a single broken or misshapen piece. The instructions are clear enough to easily follow, and each set comes with a handy tool to remove blocks you've accidentally put in the wrong place. It's a lifesaver. You'll find it in one of the bags, resembling a small black crowbar. Don't lose it!

Pieces is not sorted
We are used to using Lego which has pouches with presorted pieces in numbered pouches that you open as you go through the steps. This was a bit overwhelming because with each step in the directions you have to sit and find the pieces that you need out of the multiple open pouches. Then you proceed on to the building. These are very small pieces compared to Lego. Just when you get into a flow with building, it’s time to go onto the next step which means you have to stop and dig to find and count what you need for the next phase. We are using a highlighter pen to cross off the pieces which we have already fetched out from the larger packs. The pro to this is that it is a low priced set compared to Lego. Another con is the pieces are so small it can be hard for me to see it. My son has been building this Because I would need magnifying glasses to see the pieces! See my photos for size reference.
