I give it a 4 instead of a five rating because the company photo shows at least 16 spoons. There were I believe 6-8 in the pack. I don't like deceptive ads, I would have bought them anyway if the photo showed 8 spoons, and trust(!) the company changes that ad. Fortunately my 10 mo. old grandson likes eating from these little spoons as well as teething on them as I hoped he would. The length is excellent for the ratio of spoon to handle. They are shorter and smaller than the round wider bamboo spoons I bought (see my other review) but he has never tried to "ingest" one. I do recommend them. Both work and both are safe...as anything can be in the hands of an energetic baby. They both are great alternatives to toxic stainless steel, silicone, or any plastic...and much less expensive than sterling or even plated silver.

I don't normally write reviews, but I figured I would give a warning to those who are interested in these spoons... Please take note of the measurements!!I had purchased them for a little "guest nook" in my house, so that I would have spoons for tea/coffee without needing to take from the kitchen. Unfortunately, while these are cute, they are not a good fit for my needs, and I will have to return them. I should've paid closer attention to the reviews, and maybe I would've realized how small they we're.Because I am not keeping these, I can't say anything for the sturdiness or durability of these spoons, but for the size of them, I think $11 is kind of pushing it for my budget.

These little bamboo spoons are terrific. They're great for so many uses, including eating dessert, spooning coffee grounds and condiments, and stirring in containers that metal may scratch. Be sure to wash them by hand, as the dishwasher may wear them and make them rough.

From time to time I will host dinner parties and I have been experimenting with finishing salt. Initially people were reaching in and just pinching salt. While this didn't bother me, several guests made casual mention of it in less than a positive way. So I thought - how about small spoons. A quick search turned up these guys and they have worked perfect. Not a lot to complain about - actually nothing. They are small spoons plain and simple. Work just like they should and not a complaint since.

Good value

These were very nice and sturdy but only held a single olive or mushroom, or a VERY small amount of mustard or jam. A little too large to be a salt spoon either. So maybe for a spicy condiment this would be perfect, but overall they were sort of a miss all around. On the other hand they were good for just a single olive, or a single mushroom, or a single nut, so if you want to serve very small amounts of an assortment of tid-bits they would work well.
