From the Manufacturer Youngstown's Fusion XT is an incredible fusion of synthetic and traditional fabrics sewn into a performance glove pattern. You'll get the traditional feel of a leather palm but with performance style comfort and dexterity. The palm features a Youngstown SuperSaddle - a reinforcement layer of goatskin sewn over the index, thumb and across the palm for lasting durability. The top of hand features a heavy duty accordian knuckle to ensure totla hand protection. This glove is ideal for any number of applications but is a favorit of ranchers, construction works and arborists. Available in sizes S-XXL.

Well constructed, fit a little small.
Very nice gloves, and well built for sure. Finger tips are all leather, and double leather on the key areas like the palm. Nice quality leather too, soft yet not the cheap, thin, soft stuff found on some gloves. They should last for some time.Cons: They do fit a little snug on the fingers. I am average height (5'7"), slim build, with an average sized hand. Most Medium sized gloves fit just fine. But these are a little snug for some reason. Perhaps the leather will stretch out. I just hope they won't split at the seams over time. If you are in-between sizes, you may want to opt for the larger of the two choices.

Tough glove, reasonable value
This is a touch glove that should be good for the heavy-duty jobs. The palm is soft and strongly constructed. the only strange thing about these gloves is the unusually thick and somewhat rigid synthetic material on the back of the hand and the knuckles. This material should be very protective, but the glove would be more comfortable overall with less of that material on the back. Overall I am very happy with these gloves for masonry work, which is abusive to any glove. The price is somewhat tough to swallow, but it is, after all, a good glove.

good for rope work
The Youngstown Fusion XT Hybrid Performance Glove serves well as a riggers glove and provides ample protection for tree workers and groundsmen. The price is a bit high, but the glove is of reasonable quality and protects knuckles and back of hand sufficiently for handling most brush and branches. My Youngstown Fusion XT Hybrid gloves have served me well for the better part of 30 work days and they break in nicely too. They make for a nice rope handling glove. I did tear them up after a full 40 days of use though.
