I had extreme issues with the Dualshock standard d-pad, constantly "pressing the wrong buttons" due to them all being connected. These buttons solved my issue. They are a little higher up and a tiny bit looser, but they are still a vast improvement. They seem durable and the grip is good, I ordered the black ones to match my black extremerate back shell for back buttons and the color is exactly the same. The install was very easy and definitely newbie-proof.

I got these buttons to better control retro games on Ps5. They're MUCH better than the disappointing stock buttons. Due to the buttons being individual and a bit taller, the control feels quicker and more accurate, though I see other reviews disagree with that. I'm not playing fighting games though, just retro and side scroll platformers... Syphon Filter, Streets of Rage, old Sonic and Sega games...etc. Those type games are much better on Ps5 with these improved D-Pad buttons, for me anyway.INSTALLATION: Definitely watch and pay attention to the installation video. It's not super difficult, but not for the mechanically faint of heart. I'm a 25 year dental tech, a certified guitar repair tech and very used to small tools and parts on a daily basis in my careers and I still managed to tear the controller microphone ribbon cable in half during the button installation🙄. Fyi.

instead of shifting around it really feels like 2 face pads. it sits a bit tall but you can get used to it very easy to install(?)6 months in - they wear out the rubber pretty fast but its fine. i feel if you have to use a product like this then its probably worth the fix. button presses are way more accurate and it just feels great.

I wanted a split D-Pad specifically for Injustice 2. I was getting annoyed with combos/special moves constantly messing up because the game was registering diagonal input. This helps a lot with it. Now any diagonal input is actually my fault. The buttons feel good and fit perfect. Another review said they could hear a rattle, but I don’t hear any rattle. Was fairly easy to install. I went slow but following the video the product links to showed every step making installation easy. Just be careful unplugging the ribbon cables, I accidentally pulled one out but I managed to get it back in. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The clicky face buttons are quite loose and rattle around when you shake the controller how ever they are very satisfying to use. However sometime input maybe not response in certain games. I have a hard time playing Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World with this. Not recommended for retro games!

Awesome!!! I can properly play Guilty Gear (and fighter games in general) now. The provided videos were very helpful, though the plastic tools were flimsy and I ultimately had to use something else. No other issues! Would recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for, buttons feel soft and look wonderful. Just know, on the DS5 you cannot do left-right or up-down inputs at the same time on the d-pad even with the separated buttons.

Love what extreme rate was trying to do and the kit it comes with plus the video for installation was very easy to follow and do.Now the biggest issue is that the buttons are VERY tall when compared to stock ps5 dpad and when you are trying to do lets say circle motions your finger gets stuck inbetween the buttons, I dont have very big fingers yet mine still get stuck. Its great for anything else except circle motions.If you are planning to play a game like street fighter 6 with these DONT save your money and time. I will recommend their clicky button set which feels alot more precise than the mushy stock ps5 pad ones
