Godsend.
After trying 3 brands of progresive multifocus glasses, this are by far the best - in fact, these are the only ones I use. These work amazingly well for me and the transitions are well done. Other brand transitions are too harsh or not well executed. Well done Foster Grant. Since I have also bought 3 pairs of these Foster Grant on different magnifications maybe I can help you select. I used to have 3 glasses on different spots on my home, car and office, because I need to be able to see at different distances. This happens after your presbyopia advances as you get older. I understand that if you are just starting with this inevitable condition and it has not worsen yet, you might not see the immense benefit of multifocus glasses, simply because you are still able to focus at mid and far ranges. But it is only a matter of time for presbyopia to advance, and only then will you appreciate this magnificent product. This glasses allow me to replace all my 3 pairs of glasses with only one pair, and not have to lower my head to see outside the rim, movement that I truly hate because it makes me feel old. So, this is how I use them: I usually read with 2.50, so I have 2.50 for my room. For going out and general home wearing I found that even thou 2.50 is my reading graduation, 1.75 works best for my home, car, and general use - and let me explain why. They give me the perfect magnification for walking, driving and watching TV (using upper, which is about 1.25 I guess), also the perfect for midrange viewing (about 1.50 I guess), and, though not the perfect close reading magnification, the lower 1.75 magnification still allows me to read labels, restaurant menus, read my cel phone, see products when shopping, see my car dashboard and see what I am holding in my hand. So, thou I read with 2.50, I use 1.75 for all this activities. No more lowering my head, no more keeping 3 glasses around, no more not being able to see everything while going out, no more changing glasses. I feel younger with these. I still keep single focus 2.50 for things like working at the computer, but this multifocus have given me freedom at every other activity. Thank you for selling this glasses.

Gotta get used to them but after you do they're great
Strong frames, clear perfect vision. I've searched all over the internet and Amazon for the perfect Multifocus glasses and these are it! I use them for work and at home and they're not cheaply made like many other brands. These are the most affordable alternative to buying scripts that'll run you well over $200.00 bucks anywhere. Not all Foster Grant glasses are this good though so be careful which ones you order, they're not all this good of quality. I recommend these soley because they are everything they describe in the description. When you wear them regularly you'll not want to wear anything else and sometimes even wear them for hours on end.

Great but...
1st I love these glasses. I dont have to take my glasses on and off al the time. I can wear them while driving and still see my map. The problems I've with them are that they break after about 6 months and they are a little too tight. That being said they are hundreds of dollars cheaper than prescription lenses that do the same thing so even replacing them 2 or 3 times a year is less expensive than prescription glasses.

Fantastic (James model +2.5)
I once bought a pair of these glasses and have been using them for 4 years every day as my spare glasses. They hang around my neck with a strap. The plastic started to go slowly so I am very happy I found new ones again. These are fantastic working glasses, I use them all day long for shopping, working, reading, computer work and art school. My expensive glasses stay at home. Last year I bought another set but they came with a blue filter for PC work what makes them useless for me. Happy that this time I found transparent ones again. I bought 2 pairs of them now :-)

Great multifocal reading glasses
Bought a pair in our local supermarket. Great glasses, very comfortable and seemingly very sturdy. They were not your cheap drugstore glasses and I was pleased. Went to purchase another pair and the display was empty, so found them on Amazon and ordered another pair of the same glasses. Have only had them about a month when the part of the frame that holds the lens cracked and the lens fell out. Now they are useless and I threw them away.

Don’t waste your money
I bought these because i was weary about buying a cheap 4 pack like most get. My father-in-law has the cheap ones. First impression was they were nice, just like the cheap amazon ones. They must have better lenses, nope they were all scratched up after a few months. Maybe they are made better, nope. The arm broke off. I glued it back on and kept going. Maybe the transition of magnification has a smoother transition, nope. The top portion is not zero magnification and it has distortion. Never waste your money on higher priced readers. Not only do you get between 4 and 12 for the same price, you get better quality.

Excellent and Durable
I ordered these glasses in March 2023. They are classy looking. They are very durable and look great on. At the time of purchase, I bought a second pair as I was not sure how long they would last. However, I would purchase this product again with no reservation. Great value for the money!

I love these glasses
I bought some cheaper reading glasses, but was very unhappy with the material and build quality. They were fragile and didn't fit well. I decided to "splurge" and buy some quality glasses. These Foster Grants are much better than the rubbish I had before. They are well built and very comfortable. I thought the multi-focus lenses would be a gimmick. They are not. Transitioning from up close, detailed work (e.g., soldering) to reading an instruction manual is effortless. I'm buying more of these and scattering them around the house. =)
