The target audience seems to be teens and pre-teens. In which case is a five for them for sure. For adults like me, too basic with overuse of the word ‘weird’ instead of being more descriptive.I also like the pictures that are set as examples. However where the picture, is needed most, it wasn’t there. That was with lighting and some hug position etc. I have no clue how to setup lighting , if I were to try and understand this book alone.If I were 8-13 yo, it would definitely be a five star. I’m considering to get one for my Neice.

It is hard to learn at my age all the video editing. 13+67 years.

I'm a budding YouTuber who's planning to create his own YouTube channel. Yes, this book is really for kids, but it's also useful for complete newbies like me, who didn't grow up with YouTube and need to learn the basics from the ground up.

This is a very simplistic book apparently aimed at those with a curiosity about starting in youtube. There are some good ideas but this is a very simple book that does not go into much detail. Aimed at doing youtube on the cheap. Decent introduction but not much beyond that. Buy a used copy.
