All boxes are sculpted from outstanding exceptional cuts of premium hardwoods from around the world. The artist uses the grain patterns in these specialty woods to express his artistic vision just as a painter uses his medium to demonstrate his message. The work is meant to be as attractive to the eye as well as the touch of the hand. This functional sculpture slides open in the smoothest action on felt glides. Boxes are fully lined with wine colored plush rayon and have felt feet on the bottom. The exquisite lacquer finish is the finest finish one can apply to wood like a concert grand piano or a great guitar. Dramatic woods, curvaceous design and attention to detail exemplify fine woodworking art.
