Small Quick Access Biometric Fingerprint Safe - TechSafe

It's a dependable fingerprint reader. I have more expensive safes that are hard to open dependable with fingerprint. This one is always possible to open with biometric. I accidentally dropped it and batteries popped loose with backup keys inside and had to break into it to access it. This took 30 min with a crowbar and 15lbs sledge hammer. Impressive resistance to tooling for mostly plastic front. I ordered 2 more to replace it. Only thing I would improve is battery life but it will beep at you for about a week straight before it is dead to warn u to replace batteries. Batt last 3 months at least for me with daily use. I recommend for a strong box for keys or medications but is small so bolt to something. This won't keep anyone out but will slow them down and make it completely obvious it's been broken into and won't work thereafter.

This is the worst excuse for a safe I have ever seen. The fingerprint lock will unlock with a damp rag. So it's not secure at all. The only way you can expect anything to say safe is to pull the cover off the key hole and use the key everytime like most other safes without a fingerprint lock. Bottom line save your money. This box isn't worth it.

The media could not be loaded. Lock mechanism only lasted about two months, fingerprint mechanism worked well, but locking mechanism failed pretty quick, after about two months I was unable to lock and unlock, another case of me getting what I pay for!

This is certainly not a high security safe. It does work pretty well, however, and it is sturdy enough to keep others in your household or visitors out of your valuables/dangerous items. Be sure to check size specs… it’s on the small side. A big cowboy-type pistol might not fit, but most 9mm’s or .38/.380’s will. Not sure how well the fingerprint feature will hold up over time. It seems a bit chintzy. Still… a good value for what it costs.

I liked the low cost but the fingerprint scanner was not good it said the safe was unlocked but it wouldn’t let me turn the thing to open it

I was sent a used, damaged safe! You can tell where someone even tried to pry the door open! Unsure if they got in or not. Probably did as it was returned. It is discolored on the top, scratched inside, severely all over the fingerprint plate, and the bottom. The box it came in was not damaged at all! Nice feature is that you could bolt it to a surface but the metal is single layer and thin on the bottom.

One of the two keys were smashed in the box. The other key you can't hardly get to work. Seems like something is out of alignment in the door. Returning. I'll pay more money and get something I know will work when I need it to.

The reviews aren’t the best yet I find this safe to be fully functional.
