Not what we had hoped for

Purchased two. Put one in the kitchen light socket in an appliance that is on quite a bit. Put the other in a one-socket lamp. Left that lamp off a day, then on a day. When I unplug the lamp, the light does not go on. When I screw it into the hanging adapter and turn it on/off, it never goes on. I took down the one from the kitchen light after 4 days and also tried the hanging adapter with it. I have two lights, so two adapters. It won't go on with either. They have been on long enough to be charged. I had hoped that if the light charged and sensed that the lamp was unplugged, it would go on automatically. But at least it should work with the hanging adapter even if that did not work. I don't have the packaging any more so may not try to return...I would not necessarily trust these without taking the ones you buy for a test. They DO glow when screwed into a socket that has power and they are quite bright, but I didn't buy these just to be reg bulbs.

We recently had a 15hr blackout. These bulbs are great. They give out a lot light with out making the spot hot. If you keep one in a desk or floor lamp and sometimes turn it on, even if there’s no power to the lamp, the bulb will light if you have put it in the sun or on occasion turned on the lamp! You can also charge the bulbs by putting them in the window to collect sunlight, and hang them around the house, hanging one in the bathrooms. You can also walk with them like a flashlight! Great Christmas gift for loved ones. Get and give the 4pk! -you will be glad you did :)

These are really good however had I known it was only 1 bulb I would have bought them elsewhere 15 for 1 bulb is a little steep. It has a bright white light. Good quality and solar charging capabilities. These are really versatile.

Seem to work well. Not as bright as I thought but its decent. Haven't Lost power yet but we`we all see.

I charged these in the sun and was using them for night lights during the night. They never made it thru an entire night. They only lasted a few hours. That was probably my mistake. I must not have read the description well enough. And I had to take them back outside to charge them every day. If it was cloudy or rainy, they didn't charge very well to use that night. They were very bright and worked well when they were charged, but I was looking for something that lasted much longer AND were easier to charge.

Kids didn’t even notice the power was out. Lights came o. With the switch. I also have a few solar and precharged back up energy sources, we were fine for the 2 1/2 hours the power was down. We didn’t watch tv, but they could still play their downloaded games and I read my kindle books. I like it dim at night with candles burning, it was pretty normal.

I received my light bulb and charged it in my lamp for 6 hours then took the bulb out and put the hanging cap on it and it does not work then put it in my ceiling light socket charged 3 more hours it does work with power but after putting the cap on it to turn it off and on and hang it the bulb does not work just wasted 15.00
