Some pieces were stuck together but it was easy enough to pry them apart. Some wood splitting but nothing major. Gave this as a gift to my mother so I do not know how long it has/will take her. She did say it would be a challenge. It does seems some pieces are the same shape.

Definitely mind bending. There are multiple solutions and I don't know that we would have gotten this back together without a solution being included

It has been my goal in life to find a puzzle to stump my grandfather. I finally found one! Its taken him a year and a half and he isnt even half way done. He loves it!

While the puzzle itself was fun to assemble, the build quality is subpar. At this price point, I'd expect a nice wood, not the cheapest plywood. The puzzle was dirty and had glue spots in various places, which were easily scraped off, but come on. The enclosed solution sheet had multiple errors in it, could be intentional to throw one off, but I think it's just sloppy. It does appear this came out of a quality conscious woodworking shop.

This is a great puzzle, however, some of the smallest pieces cause frustration. The best challenges: 1) It is unknown if the piece is right side up or upside down. Meaning the backside looks the same. 2) Placing pieces in not as simple as it looks; however, it is rewarding when it is found. The frustrating challenge: The smallest pieces, and there are many, can literally be placed anywhere! Meaning you have an infinite cause of misalignment! If not for the smaller pieces, I would rate it as 6 out of 5. Meanwhile, I am continuing to search for a similar puzzle that does not have super small pieces.
