It works and leaves you options to tinker with.
It’s about the cheapest option you can buy. Shoots unbelievably well. Sights are as basic as you can imagine. It’s tough to cock with the rope tool but it works. I spent an hour on this thing with a 41/2” grinder and a belt sander fixing the ergonomics and functionality. It has been countless hours of fun and I do recommend it for a low cost but effective option.

String to short. Ugh.
Hard to string. Had to use a fork lift to hold down. I think the string was short. Have not shot yet. Directions useless

Money well spent
Was looking for something fun to shoot. Believe me when I tell you! This is a blast to shoot. We don't do anything but shoot at targets with it and so for, we have been having a great time. Growing a bond with someone over something as simple as this is money well spent!!!

crossbow
I like this one. took it deer hunting. it performed well and doesn't scare the neighbors like the tactical looking crossbow does. doesn't attract the game warden either. like the wood furniture on it.

It's a good crossbow for the cost of it.
It's been a little late in testing this crossbow to see how it will work for me. I put it together awhile ago but had to wait on anything else. Finally got it strung this morning and took it outback after figuring out how it works, cock and lock the bowstring, make sure safty is set back on, load a crossbow bolt with a few other minor things I got it to work and it does shoot! Actually shoots really well. My only concern with this thing is that the wooden buttstock seems a bit loose. I did check out how I could tighten it up but nothing for that yet. If ya buy it then good luck to you with it! Not sure I would buy this again.

!!Not safe!! String breaks easily.
Works good, the string came off just after it was loaded (I'm guessing it wasn't quite snapped in all the way) just something to watch out for, because it could hurt if it hit you. ---Edit---- This is not safe! We have gone through 3 strings. They all have broke within the first couple days, and someone could really get hurt if the string hit them when it breaks! I thought it was from.not being snapped in but after it broke the first time he was very careful and cautious to make sure it was all done properly. I would NOT suggest buying this to anyone.
