If you like 7 Wonders Duel, get this expansion immediately and never look back! Pantheon takes Duel from a really fun 2-player game to one of the all-time GREAT 2-player games. My wife and I love the base Duel game and still play it occasionally, but Pantheon is our go-to now.

The original 7 Wonders: Duel is a great game, among my favorite 2-player games. However, after a dozen or so playthroughs the original game becomes a bit repetitive and leaves an experienced player wanting a bit more. The Pantheon Expansion delivers. All of the new mechanics are well-designed and fun to play. The expansion gives the player several new options that add an entirely new dimension of strategy to the game. I've found the expanded game has considerably more staying power than the original, mostly because it's more dynamic and complex, giving an experienced player considerably more to think about. The expansion involves a lot of new rules and significant set-up time, which could be a bit of an obstacle for new players. Also, the addition of new options and powers tends to inure to the benefit of advanced players, causing margins of victory to be larger in the expansion than in the original. But that's also what I think makes the expansion more challenging, rewarding, and fun. I recommend getting acquainted with the original game first, but the expansion is a great improvement. This is one of my favorite games. Very highly recommended.

Very good expansion, worth it to make 7 Wonders Duel a lot more replayable and to improve the endgame so it does not feel so predetermined after the first few plays

My wife surprised me with this game. I love the multiple win conditions and it is perfect for two players. Our win rate is split pretty evenly so I feel like it is a fair game. We liked it so much we even bought an expansion! Easily one of our favorites to play!

My girlfriend and I have played dozens of games of 7 Wonders: Duel, and we seem to enjoy it more with every play through. New strategies explored, new structures dealt, and new combinations of Wonders. In adding the Pantheon expansion, we only fell MORE in love with the game. Why? Pantheon does a brilliant job of adding a new mechanic that doesn't dramatically alter the flow of the game. In my opinion, the biggest change is simply that a player has the option to "recruit a divinity" as opposed to choosing a card. In the base game, a player's hand may be forced simply by the layout of cards. However, there is more flexibility and therefore less "sheer luck" with this expansion, which I believe is an important aspect of a strategy-heavy, head-to-head board game. Once again - well done, Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala!

This is a fun add-on to the existing 7 Wonders Duel game. If you're looking to add some additional elements to the gameplay, this is an excellent choice. The learning curve isn't too steep, and the additional gameplay considerations add to the challenge of the game. This is a solid purchase for those who enjoy 2-player games.

7 Wonders Duel is a great game by itself but this Pantheon Expansion takes it to another level! Having played both with the expansion and without it a number of times each, I’m pretty sure it’s coming out every time I play it from now on. Easy to set up and play and adds another dimension to the game play with no fuss. Great addition. Buy it - you won’t regret it.
