Enjoyed my CNC setup for many years now!
The use of this CNC machine has allowed my Son and I to develop some great products together over the past several years. To have this much CNC power in both a CNC Lathe and CNC milling machine is unequaled as a product in this price range. You simply cannot beat it. You can get into complex operations and CNC work within a few days of videos and forum reading. My experience with the company itself has been very positive. Service and emails are responded to the same day. The phone is always answered. Expect to use popular CAD & CAM packages and then send your work over to Mach3 and away you go. I've used my Lathe for custom handles. The Mill for cool engravings w/ a mounted air-pencil, and I've littered steel and aluminum chips all over my floor for my own parts and service work on a busy hobby farm! Taken care of properly, this machine will last a long time.

I own two older shopmaster machines. One machine is over 20 years old(1720 XMTC) and is still cranking away, the other is about ten years old (Eldorado Tripower) and runs as good as the day it was delivered.

I have an older Shoptask machine from the 1980's in my garage and it still works fine with no problems whatsoever. It's amazing how far one of these machines can take your machining skills.
