Order the size you need. Fits to size perfectly. Outside is not rough, it's soft. Great quality as Levis have always been.

Levi's "Old Style" QUALITY!
As expected, "original" Levi's "heavy duty" durability, quality, and look. Fit as expected. Laundering instructions, provided, insure lasting appearance and, "no stretch" fit.

Material is stiff, size is on the tight side, but I am losing weight so OK ...
I was really hoping Levi's hadn't changed.....but, alas, they have. The material is like so many "foreign" companies use. Stiff after 3 washes and extra softener. Fit shape is quite good but snuggish. I have been purchasing Lee's as a substitute and you have to be careful there too. SIGH!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed!
I have bought several pair of Levi’s for my husband. The last probably five pair I bought from Amazon have ripped in several places. I spent alot of money on these jeans. I’m writing this review that hopefully Amazon will get this problem handled. We were very disappointed with these jeans. My husband has always worn Levi’s but will not purchase anymore if this problem isn’t resolved. They have always been the best quality jeans, very disappointed!

Thicker thighs beware!
Are your legs not shaped like twigs? Do you hit the gym regularly and don’t like putting things in your pocket? This is right for you. Seriously though these look great, I’m on the thicker side thigh wise so these do not give me much room in that area. I put change in my front pocket and people know how much I have, no space for my phone. Everything goes in my coat or back pocket. Usually have to wear belts with my jeans but these feel overly snug not tight, would probably go a size or two up next time but gosh darn it they look amazing. The wash is nice and the material is good and heavy. The cut goes well with boots. Would buy again.
