I don’t normally write reviews. I wish this book was better. When I first got it, the outer box that it comes in was damaged so the book itself got bent. Pages were also damaged on the lining. Nothing too bad. Pages are nice and thick but also prone to smudging with the pen they provided (uniball white gel pen). I already hate my handwriting and I’m so picky with page layouts so when I see inconsistencies like this that’s out of my hands I get really triggered.I paid $45 for this notebook after tax. I DO NOT recommend anyone buying it. The only reason why I gave this 3 stars is because they had a really good concept but the execution was not quite there.

Well worth the price. A really beautiful quality journal.

Favorite black paper journal!

This is my first black paper journal but I really find it is super fun to use. First off, the front index and "key" pages are a MUST have for me. I usually keep a few blank pages in the front, but I really like that these are set up already. The white pen it comes with works really nice on the black paper. But what's even more fun is using Posca or other paint markers on the pages! They are really nice weight and don't bleed through. With the paint markers< the pages do kind of get thick, but again, it doesn't soak through. It really is an awesome journal.
