Must have upgrade!
I swapped the springs on my ‘19 grom to 30% stiffer and broke the stock plate. Replaced with this and haven’t had any problems since.

A must for heavy springs
I upgraded my grom to a big bore which means I need a better and stronger clutch system, purchased these *kevlar fibers* (same part number on the website) steel plates and I purchased 30% heavy duty springs apposed to the 10% stiffer springs supplied with this kit, I believe the 10% that came with this kit was intentionally made to go with the stock 125cc.Besides that, with great confidence I know my clutch plate won't crack from clutching wheelies !:D

Don't waste your money
I have a 2019. Have spent the last 5 hours disassembling and reassembling my clutch, because it won't disengage. Turns out, the depth of the bearing seat isn't the proper depth. It made the Grom completely unusable, as well as absolutely pointless for me to have the extra threaded pressure plate. Huge waste of my time. Probably can't return it, I believe I ordered it too long ago and only just now got around to installing the new clutch. My advice, find a different brand.

bad batch?
So after researching between all the brands for this item this seems to be the go to one.Over the weekend I did my clutch. I had everything bolted back down, but when I went to put the bearings back into the clutch plate, there was absolutely no way the bearing would seat themselves back into place unless you tried tapping them into place. if you did you would NEVER be able to get them back out.Maybe this was from a bad batch? The stock bearing pull out very easily from the stock plate. The chimera one seems in needed more time cutting the hole before it was pulled during manufacturing.Would I try again, yes. But I went back to the stock one for now and will try again when I do the oil pump mod.Hopefully the stronger springs dont gernade my stock plate until then.
