My husband and I own a small business. This is the only thing that we have found that will help our employees hold on to important papers and keep them organized. We have a dozen of them. We dont use the key feature, the latch that closes the folder is strong with great quality material. This is a great item for a great price.

I got this to put my will stuff in. Everything fits perfectly in there so far ~ opens and closes just fine ~ I went through the will stuff I ordered with it ~ clipboard part works great ~ and now it's just sitting there because I haven't actually gotten a will done yet. So, I read the reviews before I got it, and I agree that it probably won't take a lot of abuse, but for writing on and holding my will stuff it's been great. I'm keeping it with several other binders and folders on the floor under my desk. It has done just fine with the little bit of knocking around it's gotten when I've gotten carried away with moving my feet, and other than the black really showing the dust, it looks like new yet.

Hear me out, I love this clipboard. It's got a lot of space, it looks real schnazzy, it's got a lock on it for all you people dumb enough to trust a lock on a 30 dollar clipboard. It's really a great clipboard. I call it disposable, because it will inevitably break on you. It's not built to last a lifetime. My first one (yes, I liked it enough to buy again) lasted me about 1.5-2 years. Great right? I think so. It could be built better, it does not reek of high quality, but as long as your easy enough on it, it will do the job. And for the record, I don't push papers, this clipboard goes out to construction sites with me. When I'm writing up jobs, the exterior clip has enough force to hold dozens of papers, the inside compartment has enough space to hold brochures, business cards, small tools, extra paper, pens etc. And the writing surface on the outside is very forgiving, it's great to write on. As long as this one holds up for a year or two, I'll buy it a third time.

So the first thing is looks, this thing looks really sharp and is an eye catcher. The case seems not for heavy duty use, if this is for some rough use do not get this case, if it going to be used in a semi rugged environment it will do fine. The lock on this thing is cheap, don't be fooled thinking you are going to get some kind of real security by locking this clip board. Now, that is pretty much it for the bad, I love the way this thing looks, I also love how deep it is so I can stack forms and books inside. An 8 inch tablet plus some would fit in there no problem. It has a Velcro strap inside to help keep things secure, it also has a couple of mesh pockets that are nice. For my use, in and out of a patrol car this thing works just fine and I would buy another one if needed. The inside is lined with a soft material so it is nice for not worrying about scratching the hell out of your electronics. Over all a pretty good case for semi rugged use Looks great!!! Security is not really a selling point for me on this item as there is none due to the cheap lock and key

Love this case! I've had them in the past and always loved them! Works great for art therapy coloring (can easily store books and markers inside). I've also used them as a clipboard with a planner and important papers inside. So many uses, great for all ages (well, ages 5+ probably lol)

Product is exactly as expected. I spent several years as an OTR driver. I purchased one of these at a truck stop and later ended up using it at home for important documents. I decided I wanted more than one so I came to Amazon to see if I could find a matching clipboard. The product is durable, has good storage capacity, and in all likelihood, I'll purhase another. Great product for the price.

I bought this because I have to carry around confidential paperwork between buildings (I work in four scattered throughout the city). It's big enough to hold approximately 100 pages. There are slots on the inside of one side of the case, but I don't put anything in there because I can't fit anything in there with the 100 pages... You can certainly put pens, pencils, a small calculator, a bag of M&Ms, etc. in there there. The pouches certainly can hold quite a bit and will separate the items from your paperwork. The locking clipboard can't hold anything bigger than a regular size file folder. I had a Manila envelope which I then had to fold in half because I couldn't fit it inside. The clipboard also comes with two small keys to lock it. The good news is that it locks. The bad news is that sometimes when I have quite bit of things to carry, there is a slight crack showing some of my paperwork even when locked. Also, it seems to have been made from cardboard-like materials as you can "press" on the sides and they will bend slightly. I sometimes wonder if it really does protect my paperwork since I'm sure anyone could pull on it hard enough to open the case. The clipboard on the front is also nice, but I never have a use for it. It clips paper fine and holds the paper in place. Also, the case is a bit bulky so carrying it from building to building becomes quite a hassle. I almost wonder if getting an actual locking briefcase with a handle would be better.

Very tough. Very durable on the outside. Holds lots of documents and pens. You won’t need to carry anything else. I take it with me anytime I travel. I do recommend keeping an eye on the latch because over time it will get out of its groove and now securely seal. Nothing crazy, just feels loose and you do have to push a little harder to make sure it latches.

Looks great and feels sturdy. Built and is as thick as the ones you see at the flying j except this one pricewise is a little cheaper and looks a hell of a lot more badass. I like the look, the lock and the hinges don’t feel weak. This clipboard is built really well, I drive long haul flatbed and use this clipboard everyday. It gets tossed around like nobody’s business and still functions like the day I got it. As a long haul trucker, I recommend this product.
