Smatree Battery Charging Hub Compatible for DJI Phantom 4/4 Pro/4 Pro V2.0/4 Adv (Charge 3 Batteries One by One, Converting Phantom 4 Battery into Power Bank, Not Include Power Cable)

Originally I thought I was just buying a charging hub, but it's more than that. I had looked at the DJI hub and couldn't justify the cost. Then I found this Smatree Charging Hub for the Phantom 4/4 Pro and jumped on it. Was only $24.99 with the coupon applied. I would have been fine with the normal cost to be honest. When the package arrived I noticed right away you can charge your other devices off of it using the built-in USB port. While traveling I don't always have a lot of outlets available to charge all my cameras and devices. Having this extra USB port is really handy. PLUS, you can charge your device/phone using your DJI power cord, or using power from the Phantom 4 battery. Super cool! As for the charging hub itself, construction is nice and they even include a ring of double-sided tape on the back so you can stick it to a wall, the side of your desk, etc. Nice feature. The charger worked as you might expect. I plugged all 3 batteries in, walked away, and when I returned an hour or so later they were all charged up. I found it useful to plug each batter in one at a time, starting with the charge port/channel closest to the charge cord. Let each batter get going before plugging the next one in. Last I just have to say that, especially when traveling, I don't have time to charge one batter at a time, and I certainly don't want to wake up through the night to unplug and plug in the next battery. This hub fixed that issue. Go to bed... wake up... all charged... hit the road! :-) I made a video with a couple tips.

I bought a used DJI Phantom 4 outfit a few months ago that came with the Smatree Charging Hub and 3 DJI batteries. The Smatree worked flawlessly, so I bought another one to keep in my truck. I have since added two more batteries and use the Charging Hub, powered by a 400-watt inverter (not included) connected to my truck battery, to charge 1, 2 or 3 batteries while I am still flying with the other two batteries. The only problem I've had so far was the first time I used this set-up it drained my truck battery in about 45 minutes to the point that it wouldn't start my truck. This problem was easily solved the next time by starting the vehicle occasionally and letting it run for a while while charging the drone batteries. I can't imagine the official DJI brand charging hub being any better than the Smatree, and at 1/5 the cost of a DJI it is well worth the money!

This 'smart multi-battery' charger is exactly what they say it is. It works just like a DJI charger, going from one battery to the next, until all three batteries are fully charged. It's MUCH faster than just using the OEM single battery charger. Especially because you can just plug 3 batteries into it and then walk away, without fear of over-charging your batteries. It's very well designed and constructed. The white plastic shell is nice and sturdy, glossy white like the drone. The ports for the batteries are precisely fit to the battery plugs. It is slighty raised on feet to allow heat dissipation. I highly recommend this product.

I've been using this for about 6 months now, on a near daily basis. Here are my thoughts: Pros: - Compact, small, lightweight - Fits in standard DJI Phantom case - Has charged about 1000 batteries so far, with no noticeable decrease in performance - Looks great - Compatible with standard DJI Phantom charger. In fact the standard charger is NECESSARY, as this does not come with it (see cons) - Great customer support from the manufactuere Cons: - Does NOT charge the batteries simultaneously. This is the reason I didn't give this 5 stars, since often I need the batteries charged quickly so that I can continuously keep the drone in the air. I ended up buying three individual chargers and an extension cord as a workaround. - Doesn't come with adaptor. You need the adaptor from the original drone to make this work. This works fine for charging up to three batteries one at a time, with automatic switching to the next one when one is fully charged. Also is handy if you need a high capacity 5V USB charger or power source for mobile gadgets. I use this hub with an original DJI 100W charger running off an inverter in my car. Even if it only charges one battery at a time, it gets the job done faster for multiple batteries because of the auto switching, so you don't need to keep checking if the battery on the charger is full so you can start charging the next one. At home I have a 3rd party multi-battery charger that can charge three batteries and the remote control unit in parallel, all at once. Although some warn against using 3rd party chargers, mine has worked flawlessly for more than two years.

This doesn't charge my batteries. I 1st put 3 batteries in it at one time to save a few hours charging as that was the reason for purchasing it. Disnt charge even a little. I then tried just one battery and still wouldn't charge. These are all brand new batteries. I had to use my single battery charger to do the task of charging my batteries but one at a time taking all day.

Great product, affordable and efficient! I charge both P4 and P4P High Capacity batteries, mix and match, and it works great. I am a real estate photographer and FAA licensed drone pilot, and I am typically charging multiple batteries a day. This cost effective charger works perfectly. I don't have to babysit the process and switch one out at a time. I can put three on with the confidence that they will be charged as needed. I think it charges in order of most to least, maybe it's the opposite... whatever it is, I put them on and they all get charged eventually. They don't charge simultaneously. I know some people complain about that, but it's still quick and efficient.

As advertised and works well, charging 3 batteries at once.
