Pangea Audio Premier AC Outlet - White

Outlet is built well, steel reinforced, very tight connections for items being plugged in. If you were looking at one of these to replace a very old or warn outlet, it could definitely improve electrical connectivity/reliability. Outside of that, this equates to using 10awg wire vs 12awg wire to run 15a\110v power. I had a heavily used outlet and connections for items in use are much more positive at this time. I did not notice any changes to any connected items in my sound room.

Excellent outlet for audio systems. I was skeptical about this outlet but am very pleased with the audible results. If you have a high end system that allows you to hear minor tweeks, you will be pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive tweek. I could instantly hear the result of a bigger and tighter connection with faster current delivery to my high current tube amp. The caps are able to recharge faster allowing for deeper/tighter/faster bass and fuller mids. Not a subtle change in my system but very welcome. At this price, it's a no brainer if you can hear it. Way cheaper than many alternatives.

This outlet replaced an original 40 year old duplex. Wow what a difference! I has been hearing a slight buzz and hum whenever I turned my system on. Both issues are now gone leaving nothing but pristine audio! I knew I needed to replace the old one but to do so meant moving my 200lb or so audio cabinet away from the wall. So I did it Thanksgiving day before anyone came by. Totally worth it!!!

Purchased 2 of these after returning a set from Monosaudio. Those had no grip and the power cable could easily be removed with no effort and a lot of movement when plugged in. These Pangea receptacles grip like the dickens with absolutely zero movement. It took substantial effort to plug in my 10 AWG audio power cable. Sound is very subjective but my vintage Kenwood system does sound fuller with better stereo separation. I like these very much. Each one weighs 4oz so pretty hefty compared to the 20+ year old ones I replaced.

This is a very well-constructed outlet with excellent plug retention and ample contact surface. I am using these for my large home theater system for secure connections and excellent insulation.

the whole design for attaching 10 awg wire is needlessly clumsy and ineffective. It's as if the whole outlet was designed for another market other than US. Lutron makes as far better version that is also priced more fairly. It is what I ended up with and it works.

The outlets are very good and much better than standard. Good value for the money.

Very well-built units and pulling an old standard outlet from the wall made it look and feel even better. These outlets feel like they have substance, and they do. On plugging in my stereo system to the new outlet I could hear a new clarity. I did not expect that, but I can still hear it right now and a day later. Clear and clean from the wall to my power conditioners. Amazing and I will install the second one today in my video screening room for that gear.
