Great forearm crutches- very strong and safe to use.
Medline, in general, makes very durable and effective assistive devices and these are one of their best. Extremely strong, easy to adjust, and stable. They’re a little heavy but I think they need to be in order to provide a safe and strong crutch.

Does what their designed to do
I purchased these forearm crutches for recovery from knee surgery, opting for these rather than traditionalunderarm crutches. These were easily adjustable for my 6'5" height, and seemed very durable at my 250 lb weight. I have not felt at all like I was going to tumble or they were going to collapse.I would recommend the manufacturer reconsider the hard plastic grips and add some cushioning as my hands were really sore after a couple of days usage. Easy fix is to cut a piece of pipe insulation and cover the handle, or even a piece of small pool noodle.Hopefully I'll never need to use these again, but they are easily stored in the box which they shipped.

The Cadillac of Crutches!
The "Guardian" model is truly the Cadillac of forearm crutches--versatile, durable, and well-designed for long-lasting use.As a permanently disabled long-term crutch user, I appreciate the design of the forearm clamps, with four rivets instead of only two (clamps that are only riveted in the center tend to weaken and break with extended use). On these Guardian-model crutches, the four-rivet configuration provides maximum strength and stability in the forearm clamps, and I have proven the benefit of that feature over long periods of time.I am also big and tall man, and really value the dependability of these crutches, which are designed to not just "barely" accommodate a tall man at maximum extension (as many purportedly "big and tall" cructhes do). At 6'1, I find I still have a very comfortable amount of extension potential. Also, the crutches are very solid and dependable for carrying my 400+ pound weight.Over 16 years of extensive crutch use, I have used several different brands and have never seen anything even close to the quality of these Guardian-brand crutches. I will never use any other style or brand as long as I live.Guardian Forearm Crutches, Adult, Pair

Good value
Guardian crutches are usually pretty good. The usual weak spot is the rivets on the back of the crutch where the handle is secured to the pole. The last two pairs of these have popped the rivets out, which presents a danger.Otherwise, they are a good value.5/26/2020 update: 3 of the 4 rivets have popped out from the handles. Removed one star due to weak rivets that have not been updated in this product.
