Awesome gloves!
I know these are supposed to be welding gloves, but I actually got them for another purpose: pulling out blackberry vines and thistles. You probably expected a traditional review--the gloves are well made of nice leather, and protect past the wrist--but I'm here to tell you also that these gloves are apparently blessed by the gods and imbued with supernatural powers. You see, I have blackberry vines and thistles in my backyard, and these weeds are like the Spartan 300 of weeds. They've got thorns that penetrate ordinary garden gloves, and they have defied me for weeks by waving their leaves at me, poking me with thorns, and generally sounding like King Leonidas every time the wind blows. In fact, it's little known that one of the tasks Hercules failed at was pulling the blackberry vines and thistles out of my backyard. Look it up. So, I ordered these gloves, partly because the flames on them looked cool and partly because I read that welding gloves work pretty well on thorny adversaries. Let me tell you--as soon as I put these gloves on, I felt capable of taking on those weeds. I had expected to take a couple of hours just to plow through one section of thorny vines and thistles. I pulled those suckers out in 15 minutes. Oh, the vines tried to fight back, with their little pricks (heh heh) from their thorns and their reflexive attempts to penetrate my skin. These gloves were tougher though, and thanks to the longer protection, I slaughtered those weeds and made a pile of their dead green bodies. I'm pretty sure my maniacal laughter disturbed the neighbors, but I digress. In any case, these holy gloves did the job and I finished a section way, way quicker than I thought it would take. Though the gloves are a little big on me they would probably fit someone with "large" hands as opposed to my "medium" hands. There is some insulation/cushioning on the inside, but only from the palms to the fingers. I haven't been able find the inscription granting me the power of Greek or Roman gods, but I'm fairly certain, based on my weed experience, that there must be such an inscription with these gloves. I probably will have to take a welding class, just to be able to use these gloves for their intended use, but if you have the same challenge I did--thorny weeds defying your gardening authority--they will work great and are far better than normal gardening gloves.

Best gloves I've used!
I love these gloves so much. I think I should have gotten a larger size but I have huge hands. They are so comfortable and protect you from spatter and hot metal. I've grabbed the pieces of metal I just welded and barely felt the heat. In fact I got so used to grabbing the hot steel I took the gloves off and accidentally grabbed my piece I just got finished welding and that is how I realized how well these gloves are insulated. I didn't burn my bare hand but I did drop that metal very quickly. There are no burn marks on the gloves from the spatter or touching the hot metal. I love these gloves. You will not regret it at all. The gun is comfortable in my hands and they come far enough up my arms that I feel safe with a 3 quarter length sleeve. I'm in Florida so it's hot here year round. That's why I don't wear full length sleeves but I don't have to with these gloves. Get them and you'll never wear another pair of welding gloves.

Good product for those here and their jobs
For the price if you’re not doing nothing major just a little bit of garage work here and there a little bit of fix this fix that these will be the gloves for you. There’s nothing serious and good protection.

Shields the heat best in class
I'm a repeat customer. I've purchased and compared many brands. They are the best I've found for both high heat shielding and dexterity. I keep a set next to the woodstove for loading wood or grabbing the stray coal that falls out. They also come along for camping, and dealing with the fire situations there. Oh yeah, they work great for their intended purpose too, welding, plasma cutting, or other hot work. They have saved my hands from many burns. Recommended.

Very good quality welding gloves
These are good quality welding gloves. They are priced fairly good. I purchased these partially because they match my welding jacket also made by the same company and priced fairly well too.

Excellent quality glove
I use these every day in the winter to empty my coal stove. On cold days the stove gets to 400° F. I reach inside the stove with these gloves on, pull out the hot ash pan and walk the ash pan outside the house to be emptied. Never had a issue with these gloves heating up. Sometimes at work I get stuck for overtime which means my wife has to tend to the stove. She uses these with no problem. I'm 6 foot tall and 240 pounds and these fit me nicely. I'm also an amateur welder. I like how they protect my forearms.
