After doing some research I purchased this for my 2015 Ford Edge Sport 2.7TT. Very high quality and was a breeze to install.

I've always heard that oil separators are a necessity in modern cars, but I never quite realized how important they were until I installed this on my mother's car.Within just a couple of weeks, I unscrewed this and found quite a bit of oil caught in the cup.If you're still on the fence for buying this, I recommend that you don't give it a second thought. If you plan to keep your vehicle for any period of time (especially a turbocharged engine), buy this. It's a small price to pay for a happy, long lasting engine.As for the build quality, it was surprisingly heavy and sturdy. It looks good in the engine bay without standing out too much, and installation was a breeze with just a quick youtube video and instructions. Anyone could install this themselves.

After reading about JLT’s oil separator/catch can on various automotive forums, I decided I wanted to add one to my own vehicle. I worked in the automotive industry for several years and have personally seen what poor PCV can do to the inside of a crankcase. This is a genius product that reduces the oil gunk build up inside the engine. The oil gunk/residue ends up in the catch can, rather than inside the crankcase. Empty the can every few weeks and you’re good to go. I recently had my engine and a turbo replaced at the dealership, and thought this would be a great product to install to keep the new engine free of nasty oil residue, which can reduce MPG and pony power.Super easy install. Depending on your automotive knowledge, it will take you anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Basic tools necessary, such as a Phillips screwdriver and socket set.Product appears to be made of high quality materials. Once installed, the product looks like it came OEM.This item was installed on a 2015 Ford Edge Sport, 2.7L T-turbo.

The catch can system is quick and easy to install, and very definitely does the job of preventing light oil and fuel vapors from making its way into the intake and coking up the intake valves.Every 2,000 miles I have another tablespoon of garbage in the catch can to dump out. That's all the evidence as it it's effectiveness that I need. There does seem to be more liquid collected in the cooler months.

mounts in seconds, literally 3 fasteners to loosen and take old pcv hose off pop this on and reassemble. highly recommend
