does the job but already broke one.

Worked perfectly, as expected. I noticed that the cast iron column on my old bandsaw looked like an eye beam. So, when I wanted to move the power switch to the column, like on a new bandsaw, I thought that beam clamps would work perfectly for that application. They do. Fantastic.
