I cannot describe how beautiful this folio is. Beyond excellent value. This is truly an artisan piece. I will be purchasing other items from this brand. Well thought out design. Fits my favorite “tops docket gold” 50 sheet pads. Fits my favorite FP. The side pocket accordions out just the right amount to hold notes that I have removed from my pad. Looks very professional. Well suited for settings that demand serious consideration. I’m pleased to own this high quality piece.

I use this thing every. single. day. It fits standard paper pads (like you'd find at a US Staples or Office Max store) and the leather, stitching, and worksmanship on this thing is unreal. Leather is soft, weathers incredibly well, and the interior pen holder holds most pens (I actually use one of KomalC's pen carriers so I often don't use this feature, but it does fit a Lamy Logo pen quite nicely to those that were wondering). The maker's mark is tasteful, muted, and simple -- none of that Micheal Kors 'Lemme splash my logo on every available inch of your thing' -- which was one of the chief reasons I went looking at this thing in the first place. The only drawback is with the paper pocket. I am looking to find a local leatherworker who can make the necessary changes, but the little strap with the button on it is too short to accommodate a standard 8.5x11 piece of paper when buttoned (it will crinkle the protruding end of the paper and be unable to button). I've worked around this by simply using a binder clip to crease the strap further out so I can keep paper in the pocket (though I cannot button). The strap needs to be about a half inch longer and it'd be perfect. In short: for the price, you aren't going to find a better padfolio, and it looks awesome when paired with other KomalC products -- I've got one of their Bags and a pen case.

GREAT PRODUCT! SUPPORT THIS AWESOME SMALL BUSINESS! This product was more than I expected. First, shipping was extremely fast. Second, the packaging is perfect for gift giving. It came in a handsome canvas bag with the company logo, a thank you card on heavy card stock with care and cleaning tips and recommendations. Third, the quality of craftsmanship is impeccable. It is a full grain leather. Stitching is incredibly durable. No corners were cut in the crafting of this portfolio. It is of a quality for anyone from an executive to mid level management. This is would make a perfect gift for promotions, graduations, birthdays, really any gift giving occasion. I rarely write reviews for products. I felt compelled to given the quality of this product and that it is a small business which relies on good reviews and word of mouth for continued success. LOOK NO FURTHER, BUY THIS PRODUCT! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

I like another reviewer do find the snap fixture a little short when you put an iPad when keyboard in it. And I will be remedying that as well. However, it is just beautiful. I was looking for something that would make a statement when you entered the meeting. Something that said, yes boss I’m serious! And this is just the piece I needed. When you enter the room with a laptop or iPad to take notes it just doesn’t say the same thing as entering the room with pen and paper. To me and many others the pen and paper says permanent and when this leather looker it says I’m here for the long haul not the ladder climber. I’m sure to be noticed when I enter the room with this leather portfolio.

If you’re like I am, you’ve been searching for the right one. Have probably had one from Office Depot or Walmart and just want something that’s quality and gives a presence when you use it. This is the one, I don’t write allot of reviews but I had too with this one. It’s crafted in a way that you can feel the quality and see the time put into it. I wanted something nice. I was willing to spend more. I had more expensive ones in my hand. This one still wins. Holds my iPad with a keyboard case and still has plenty of room. It does not have a million pockets, and that makes it look even better. It’s simple, fashioned (looks awesome), durable, quality work. The pen it comes with is nice, the pen holder has plenty of room as well as the clear pocket for cards or id. All around this is the one. You will not beat this for under $100, much less $55. Cannot recommend enough.

Writing this review on the day of delivery (will update if anything stated below changes). Currently, I am extremely impressed based off of what I see and smell (yes, it's real leather). Likes: 1. Craftsmanship, it's amazing, the leather feels and smells good. Looking at the stitching it's uniform and meticulous at every angle. As can be expected of leather REAL leather products, the portfolio is a little stiff. Although, the craftsman also tells you about this aspect in a personally signed letter, with care instructions. As I would expect, the leather will soften overtime and build memory and character. I do not see any concerns that would immediately stand out to me. Color is amazing, and I can also fit my standard legal pad inside. Also...the pen included is surprisingly good quality. Including the pen alone would normally count as an additional 30-40$ but nah, its a bonus. 2.) Packaging. It arrived in a protective cloth bag that would easily add to the "gift" aspect of this product. Dislikes: *Currently none, I have the care instructions and I will see how this portfolio preforms over the next couple of weeks. If anything pops up during this time I will include it here.

Absolutely blown away. What a beautiful item. I read other reviews and want to say, the pen holder is larger than some others explain -- you could probably fit a Sharpie in there; not that you would because this portfolio is maybe a bit too classy for it. The item is non-descript, there are no logos, which I really like. It's so nice to touch, functional and unique. Nice letter and pen with magnetic cap included and really neat packaging and sleeve. Great job. I don't need anything else they sell but the quality of this item has me making excuses and reasons to buy a bag. I don't think you'll regret getting this portfolio.
