Really poor, do not buy!
This is a really poor quality book and I suspect is just a copy and paste job from the MS online tutorials. I feel scammed and annoyed Amazon allow this to be sold on their site. I cannot find anything good to say about it and just chalk it down to experience. I have to give it one star to post the review but it does not merit even this.

Not worth the money
This is a very poor quality book written in extremely poor English, even basic grammar is poor. Not worth the money and not for Power Users at all.

Very Basic
I was disappointed in this book. It looks at access at a very basic level and covers what the help pages on access do anyway. There were no real life examples of how to structure and use access practically. It was a waste of my time and money.

Absolute rubbish
An amateurish collection of poor quality screen shots printed with a laser printer on tissue paper. Save your money. I’m sure the rest of the series is as useless

Book starts out really well but.....
The book starts out really well. However it becomes a little difficult to follow. Example: Page 30 near the bottom talks about selecting Contacts, Issues, Tasks, or Users. It does not tell you which to choose. It also does not tell you that you need to choose more than one in order to see the relationship dialog box. In addition the helpful hint that shows up on page 32 about making sure objects are closed first comes about a page and a half to late. Next it describes the importing from Access process but it assumes you have something to import., I did not. I could sure use some source data. My company has asked me to take on some new duties and this includes using Access 365. I haven't used Access in a long time and thought this book would be a nice refresher. It has the potential to be a 5 star but there are things missing. I do like the book and I do think it will be a nice refresher for me but I feel like there were some shortcuts taken or assumptions made. That being said.... I do like the book and the way the author is breaking things down and I absolutely would recommend the book. The price is fair and if you are just in need of some refresher this book is a good way to go. Not sure if the author has other books but I would not hesitate to buy others like this with topics like C#, PHP, JAVA , Python, or SQL(or similar)

Very cursory, general information
I wouldn't waste your money. There are a lot of annoying editing issues but the main problem is that it only covers very general information so unless you've never looked at an Access database before don't bother with this. It doesn't even look at relationships. Most of the book lists every shortcut that Access has. Terrible.

Good
The product was in good condition when it arrived. However, I was looking for more detailed instruction while the book was primarily hot keys and a few definitions.

This book is atrociously written and edited.
This book should be taken off the shelves. It contains incomplete sentences, is poorly edited. The only useful part is the table of keyboard shortcuts in Access, which is basically a cut and paste of pages which can be found at support.microsoft.com. Don't buy this book.
