Great travel speaker
Since I started traveling for work, I have been on a mission to reduce the size/weight of things that I have in my backpack. I used to travel with a medium sized bluetooth speaker that I used in the hotel for music and white noise at night, along with a Jabra 510 that I brought with me to the office for meetings. For the hotel use case, I have since moved to one of those teeny tiny, weird name Chinese brand speakers that literally fit in the palm of your hand and weigh next to nothing. However, even though the sound quality of those are surprisingly good and they have a built-in mic, the voice quality was horrible if you tried to use them for the meetings/speakerphone use case. After doing a bunch of research, I found this Microsoft speakerphone that checks all my boxes for the office scenario. It was small (about the size of a classic video game controller), has a nice hard shell case, is Teams certified, and is lightweight. It is also much cheaper than offerings from Jabra, Yealink, Anker and others. I also really like the built-in cable management. I got used to that feature on the Jabra and did not like options that either offered no cable management, or just had a detachable cable. The sound quality in Teams seems on par or better than with the Jabra and MUCH better than any mini travel speaker/mic combo that I have tried.Only downside that some may have with this is that it does not have bluetooth. But for me, that was not a requirement. I have a bluetooth headset if I needed to be wireless. Plus, for the price ($52 when I bought it), I wouldn't expect that feature. If you are looking for a speaker that you can keep in your travel/office bag without taking up much room, this is one has a good balance between price, sound, build quality, features and size.

It works great on my Mac
I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro, and it works great. I was looking for something that was no fuss for Teams calls, and this work great. It works for other call software also, but primarily use Teams now.Things I like:1. It's USB-C not Bluetooth. I was looking for something that just worked when I plugged it in, and didn't have to worry about bluetooth pairing, batteries, interference, it auto-switching between headphones, etc. That might not be what everyone wants, but it was what I was looking for.2. Large dedicated mute button that just works, and actually mutes in Teams, not just the speaker.3. Teams/Mac is smart enough (if desired) to see it as your speak/mic just for Teams. So your primary sound can still be other speakers and it's only used for conference calls.Things I don't like:1. The Teams button is pretty useless. I wish I could reprogram it to be a video on/off button.

A MICROSOFT TEAMS WORKER MUST HAVE!!
Set up was a breeezzzeee with the USB-C inlet. The sound quality is pretty excellent, and my coworkers say my sound sounds smooth while allowing voice isolation in louder environments. The mute button is easily found and lights up when engaged.I love this thing and the cost! I've recommended it to many of my coworkers.

I Use Every Day, Some Room For Improvement
I've used this Teams speaker for work every day for over 2 years. It has greatly improved my audio and microphone quality and it works seamlessly with Teams, which I practically live on! I like the ease of setup, the microphone mute button is huge as I constantly want to prevent background noise when I'm not speaking during group meetings, and I can easily accept calls through a button on it. It looks sleek and fits where I need to, as I've opted for a very compact desk space where every square inch is being used for my PC setup. That said, my one issue is that the speaker naturally lays down so that the speakers fire directly up. This might be fine for a conference room setting, and maybe that's what Microsoft intended? But for personal use, I want my speaker to be directionally pointed at me so I can hear it more cleanly. To fix this, I've simply leaned the speaker against my docking station, allowing the speaker to point directly at me and dramatically improve the sound. This has worked out fine for me the entire time, but for a new buyer, take note that I would prefer if the speaker naturally pointed in a direction of the hearer.

Home Offie Homerun
Great for my home office. I’m on teams often. This way better than laptop speakers or a headset. I like that you can adjust volume or mute/unmute with large backlit buttons to right on the speaker.

Good value, but short usb cable and low volume keep this from a home run product.
I have been using this solution for more than 6-months without issues.Pro:(1) Small form factor.(2) Buttons on the top - mute, volume, "Teams to the front," work well.(3) Speaker sound quality is good (no distortion)(4) Microphone volume (from others) seems to be very good.Cons:(1) usb C cable is much too short. I had to purchase an extension.(2) The Speaker volume on its highest level can be a little too soft. I would like this to be louder.Enhancement requests:(1) Longer usb C cable.(2) Output of speakers to a computer speaker system (volume)(3) A bracket or holder to mount the speaker to the bottom of my display.

It works poorly
First of all you have one job, work on a teams call. Everyone on the other end of the teams call says when I use the speaker/mic combo it echos the meetings bad. Also when I use the speaker/mic combo it's not very deep or loud sounding. So, I use my logitech webcam's mic, and just use this as a USB speaker. Plus, when I don't "use the speaker/mic" combo I cannot use the physical "mute" button on the device to mute my logitech mic. In other words, the physical buttons only work if you enable the whole combo, which causes everyone else on the call problems. Would not buy again.
