TOPSCOPE FP7121MN - Fuel Pump Module Assembly E7121MN fits 1997-2000 JEEP CHEROKEE 2.5L-L4, 1997-2001 JEEP CHEROKEE 4.0L-L6

I own a 1997 Jeep Cherokee SE, not a Grand Cherokee and this pump was an exact replacement. It came with a new rubber gasket and I had to attach the float for the sending unit. It shipped fast! It was easy to install after watching a YouTube video. You will need the little clip that holds the gas line on from your old pump. It's delicate so be careful. I also left the filler tank tube attached to save me some time. The tank was angled 45 degrees hanging from the tubes. It made it tough to reinstall because the pump is spring loaded and you have to push down with quite a bit of force to screw the plastic ring back on. Also I had to be careful to keep the new gasket in place. After a few attempts, success! Before I strapped the tank back in it's place, I temporarily jacked it up into place and started the Jeep just to make sure. Started right up! I have zero complaints with this fuel pump.

*** I don't quite know if it was user error or not, but after carefully installing the pump and seal I got an EVAP leak code. The top of my gas tank leaks fuel when refilling the gas tank. I will be reinstalling this pump next week and will update if replacing the seal fixes this issue.Pump went in just fine and looked like the factory pump. I was a little concerned, because I know I should be using the OE pump, but it's unavailable so I settled with this. Glad it's been working so far!

it worked at first. was not an easy job but the pump was the right one. and it fit. It was pumping fuel that is the main thing. Then is started pumping air along with the fuel and the jeep runs rough. I put a clear line on the supply to the injectors and there was all kinds of bubbles. figured it might be because of heat from the exhaust manifold, so I wraped the fuel line. No good and this was even happening with a cold engine.I have contacted the supplier.I may change this review depending on the answer back from the supplier.Right now it is thumbs down, I have been messing with this for 3 months. I am glad this is not my daily driver. but I want this 4wd jeep to work.

The fuel pump worked just fine

So first... it arrived damaged from shipment and I of course didn't open the box until it was time to install, tank out, cleaned and so on. Sent for a replacement and it arrived a mere two days later... Excellent service. The filter is bigger than the OEM so that is a good thing as the original was so dirty, it couldn't pull fuel. Installation was easy as the spring load will stay down during installation once depressed. Primed and started right up... drove it around and all good. Thanks!

Product arrived on time like always due to Prime membership. Stopped the problem I was having on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L. The issue i was having was the fuel pump would not hold pressure in the lines causing me to have to prime my pump 5-8 times before it would start. Mechanic installed and said everything went smoothly. Started right up after installing. Good product.

I got a 98 xj that I’m fixing up and it needed a new fuel pump I tried this one because it was cheaper the the Bosch one that comes from the factory and well it worked great for about a month then it quite literally crapped the bed and stopped pumping while I was driving on 95 trying to go to work in the morning long story short don’t buy and waste all that time dropping the fuel tank just to have to do it again when it decides to die my ex was more reliable than this pump… I miss her I’d go to her house but my jeep won’t move!!!
