could use a better design, but does what I need it to

good deal
bought this for a stronger exfoliation than my dry brush. also was trying to eliminate razor bumps and clogged pores. I think it’s working. the “brush” is firm and doesn’t flex at all - wouldn’t be good for sensitive skin

Love it
Product is amazing, it feels so good to the skin and afterwards it leaves you feeling fresh and clean. Great design and Brussels feel like your getting a massage.

Easy to use.
Idk if I have noticed much of a difference however it feels amazing and it’s a super simple tool to use in the shower or outside of the shower.

Great for exfoliation and old stretch mark lightening
As other reviewers have said, this brush is kinda harsh. I can’t use it in the bath or shower because it’s just too rough and I can’t take it. If you do try it in there, water does get trapped in the handle part, but a super clever gal on here advised that she used a nail clipper to pop out the bristles to drain it.I used a nail file, but the idea is the same.Just slip it between the bristles and the top and it pops right out!Although harsh, its actually a really great exfoliating brush to help get rid of ingrown hairs and surprisingly, to break up my old stretch marks! They are far less noticeable now, and that’s saying something because stretch marks really stand out on African American skin.I wish I had taken a before picture, but I didn’t buy this thing to get rid of stretch marks so I didn’t, I honestly had no idea it would work for that!I use this before I get in the tub and rub myself all over in a circular motion paying closer attention to my problem ingrown hair and stretch mark areas. After I feel like I have properly filleted myself, I step into the bath.Omg it stings. But after a minute it’s fine, I wash and shave(makes shaving go so much more smoothly!) and use Tendskin , let that dry, then apply a CBD salve I make and my legs are so soft and luscious, if they were loaves of bread I would eat them.If you are not afraid to practically fillet yourself in the name of beauty like yours truly, you need this product in your life.If the idea of scraping yourself a little raw freaks you out , you might want to get something a little softer! 🤓I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars because they reeeeeally should mention in their listing that this bad boy is pretty intense (ie: super rough!)and might not be for the feint of heart , and of course, the water in the handle issue. They need to build in a release button! We shouldn’t have to MacGuyver around with this thing until we figure out how to make it less unsanitary.🤷🏽♀️

I never knew how much dead skin I had
I purchased this brush to help with ingrown hairs before I got my Brazilian wax. Seems I was getting a lot. They told me to exfoliate so I did and if you have sensitive skin and those areas don't go wild with it be very gentle. I learned that the hard way. It does a great job. After I got out of the shower I used it on my legs from the knee down where I normally just shave. I wash them in the shower like everybody else but the skin is not as sensitive there and I never knew how much dead skin had accumulated on my lower legs. It was so satisfying to see the rush was actually doing something. I had gotten an ingrown hair on the side of my leg and it was bad. It was literally full of dead skin when I got finished and I had to take a washcloth and wash my legs off. Do not do this on freshly shaved legs. Do it before like the day before you're going to shave them. I promise you you will be amazed with your legs. My legs feel softer and look better once I put lotion on then they did before. If it does nothing for the private areas it's worth it for the legs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is you could do this with any type of brush and $10 is a lot to pay for a little silicone bristle brush. However I will not be returning it.

It really does work for stretch marks!
I ordered this item because one of the reviewers for a different color said it lightened their stretchmarks. I've been using mine at least twice a week for around 6 weeks and it really has lightened my stretch marks by around 40%. They used to be really dark purple when the light hit them from the right direction. But now they are much less visible and I am hoping to get them to fade completely over time.As far as using this item to exfoliate, it does a great job. It's surprisingly rough. I have a good threshold for pain and even I find it a little too abrasive for more sensitive areas like my face and neck. It works great everywhere else though. You just need to be careful not to overdo it. For my face I just use a smooth piece of pumice.Regarding drainage, one reviewer said to pop the bristles out with tweezers or something. At least on the one I received there's a hole in the bottom of it that allows it to drain. All you need to do is set it upright somewhere with the hold at the bottom and it'll drain out eventually.Overall fantastic product. It works as intended and is very good quality. A++

Does the Job but It’s a Bit Rough
Bought this to exfoliate in the shower. It does do the job, but I find it to be a bit rough and prickly. Would not recommend for sensitive skin.

I would recommend this product
So this product works very well if gets ingrown hairs out if you go in circular motions however it's very hard and firm honestly kinda hurts so you can use it a lot but it does work for sure

Well-made, not sure if it avoids ingrown hairs…
Ingrown hair level has not decreased.

Was going to return it, but.....
So. Everyone knows there's certain things on Amazon that you buy, and when you go to return it, you get a msg saying "there's no need to return this item"Well, being as this is a Hygine product, I figured this would be one of those things. It's not.Disgusting.I canceled my return request because of it BTW.I was returning it though because the things fricken HUGE. I uploaded a picture of it next to my nail polish remover for comparison.Since I canceled my return, I figured I'd try it out.As seen in the picture, there's already water stuck in it that you can't get out. I just got it today, 8/15/23, and only used it today. And, excuse me...exfoliate? Yea, if you want to scrub the skin off your body. This brush is entirely too rough. I may have well have used my hairbrush on my face in the shower. It's in the trash.Don't buy this product. You don't know if you're getting someone else's used "goods".Hope this helps.

Good for clearing strawberry skin
I use this mainly on my legs to clear out my strawberry skin due to shaving. It helps a lot since it exfoliates well over time. I use it in the shower and it's easy to use. The edges are hard and can be painful but it's pretty good for the price it offers. I recommend it to anyone.

It uses a lot of soap with no suds
If you are like me and need to feel some sort of pain during exfoliating or showering to feel clean then this is great! Anyone with sensitive skin or low pain to skin this is not for you!!The bristles are a lot harder than in the picture. That being said! I love it but it uses alot of soap to get suds. I definitely feel clean after using. Way cleaner than a lufa, more like the bristle brushes on the wooden handles at the store kind of feel 😊 hope this helps!
