The splitter was the perfect way to use one solar panel and two blink cameras outside.

Works great splitting 5 Volt USB cable to power two cameras.

This adapter worked great for allowing me to use one solar panel to charge 2 Arlo cameras.

Works fine for charging two outdoor cameras with one power cord. Like others have mentioned the female end isn’t deep enough so a little metal shows. Cured that using a piece of heat shrink tubing to cover the connector which covers the metal plus makes the connector water tight.

I wanted to add another wired camera without running a whole new power cord. Saw this little guy and it works! I'm running a Wyze Camv4 AND a Cam v3 on it. Both cameras are working perfectly. Yay! You may also want to know this splitter is on the end of a Wyze-compatible extra long cord. It is true that the splitter ends don't neatly fit under the weather protection tube. A few wraps of tape take care of that problem. I'm delighted with this simple, effective item.

Does what it should I feel like it’s overpriced for what it is not due to the manufacturer or the seller but due to the market. One of the only ones I found outdoor rated and it’s been holding up very well for six months now.

My application for this splitter was to run two outdoor Wyze cams from a single power source that needed a 20 foot plus cable run between the cams and the power adapter. I had an outdoor Wyze Cam v3 already installed and working with a single power cable (and single hole in the outside wall) running about 20 feet from the outdoor cam to the Wyze supplied indoor power adapter. I wanted to add outdoors a Wyze Cam Pan v3 about 10 feet from the Wyze Cam v3. My plan was to place the splitter by the Wyze Cam v3 and then run a 10 foot power line to the Wyze Cam Pan v3 thus avoiding another hole in the outdoor wall and a long cable run. Each cam would run as expected on either leg of the splitter with only one cam attached to the splitter. However, when each cam was attached to each leg of the splitter (i.e., both cams attached) the Wyze Cam Pan v3 would not run and the spotlight of the Wyze Cam v3 did not work properly. I tried two other usb micro splitters just like this one from Amazon and all exhibited the same issues. This same review is on the Amazon page for those splitters. I eventually had to run separate power lines to each cam but I was able to split the power at the indoor power adapter with a usb-a splitter and some usb-a to usb micro adapters. At least I am able to use just one smart switch to recycle power on both cams.

As described. Works great. Keep an eye on amperage from wall outlet adaptor. Will obviously not charge 2 device at full amperage. Which is fine for small batteries/device overnight charges.

good power splitter for older stuff

Does what I need it to do. One end is data+power and the other is power only, which is fine since I use these for charging.

Main reason I got this for the wyze cameras to have one cable to power two. It does work but anytime there's a power outage, I have to turn the power on and off for this wire's adaptor for it to properly work again. It's the best alternative out there for 1 plug 2 wires.
