Caliburn Knifemaking and Blacksmithing Tongs 16" Z V-Bit Style

My son wanted to get into Forging so he needed one of these. He said it works really well. It opens up wide and your hand's are farther away from the Forge using these. Very long handle. The jaws have a Nice tight grip when working with the materials I would highly recommend this if you’re doing Forging or thinking of getting into it. The price was right also. You can’t go wrong with these.

I recently was able to use these while forging an knife blade and they work nicely. They are of good quality and work nicely for holding a blade in place on the anvil as well as shifting it in the forge, etc. I would purchase this item again if I had need.

They're good tongs, good quality, I just wish the end wasn't quite so wide, it's great for gripping larger items and they do what they're supposed to,

These are perfect for the knives I've been forging. They're really nice for up to 1/4" bar stock. The offset jaws are very handy for forging knives, particularly as you draw out the blade and you need to grip in various positions. I just got them and was able to work with a 18" overall length knife from start as an 8" long piece of stock all the way to rough shape. Not done yet, but I don't see any reason I can't use these from start to finish.

Very sturdy and comfortable in the hands. Have madeb3 blades with them. Would definitely recommend these!
