Great big flakes - great big fun!
My African Cichlids love it! I wanted to give them a little more plant matter in their diet, to avoid getting bloat. After heavy research, this Seachem product was the very best for it.What was really interesting is how large these flakes are. They are thin like most flakes, but they are as large as little leaves. I feel this gives my fish a natural feeding feel as they get to tear off bits. PLUS, I can even hand feed them! That was a fun surprise to find out and adds a lot more fun to my cichlid keeping.(UPDATE) - They still go crazy for it and they eat right out of my hand now!

Been using for over a year
A great option for herbivore/omnivorous fish. Freshwater or saltwater, this is a natural way to bring out the colors of tropical fish.Chlorella is a great nutritional option, as it is about 45% protein, 20% fat, 20% carbohydrate, 5% fiber, and 10% minerals and vitamins. However, no one food should ever be used alone.

My African Mbuna Cichlids love these
I was worried these would be crushed after shipping but they are actually nice big flakes. My cichlids, ranging from 1-4" have no problem gobbling these up, and get super excited when it's feeding time. I also feed them cichlid pellets to mix up the diet, and occasionally fresh zucchini.

Thick and large sized flakes--great for full grown African cichlids
This is the 2nd SeaChem cichlid food I have tried, and it is terrific for larger cichlids. The flakes are very large and comparatively thick and will float for quite a while until they are eaten. My full grown Yellow Labs and Ahlis love these, and if I crumble them, are also devoured by my smaller fish. Also, the ingredients look top-notch and should promote strong coloration without artificial preservatives and colors.
