Holbein Artists Watercolor - Shell Pink 5ml

This is my third tube, I love the color as I paint a lot of flowers. Pigment is good; it has a soft feel once you you lay it down your paper.

This paint is breathtakingly beautiful. It is just fabulous quality. Glides on the page. Mixes like a dream. I am partial to Sennelier but have all the major brands and some small company watercolors as well. You have to - have to try this especially for florals. It is pricey but sooooo worth it. Great product.

This is one of the best professional watercolor paints that I have ever used! In watercolor, I paint mostly florals. If you love painting florals the way that I do; this is a must have, go to color! It is also useful for skin tones. It’s simply GORGEOUS! It is rich, buttery and creamy beyond belief. It mixes well with other colors and other brands. It dissolves, blends and lifts perfectly. One of the most important aspects of this paint is that you only need the size of a pinhead for most petals if not full flowers; depending on how big your flower is! I have read negative reviews concerning the small size of the tube. Pay no attention to those because the quality that you are getting far exceeds anything else! I highly recommend this to any professional watercolorist or even to a non-professional who would like to see their work looking better using a higher grade of paint! It is worth the money you pay. You can’t really put a price on such beauty!

First time I have used a Holbein watercolor. Nice consistency, and due to the honey binder, it fills a pan very well and evenly. Will try more colors.

I love everything about this paint. Creamy, very soft color and does not take a lot of paint to apply on my artwork . Will buy again and other colors
