Bought a set of these for a NERF party. They were perfect in the indoor hall we hired.As it was a nice day, the boys decided to take the game outside on the garden next to the hall.With a fairly light breeze they all brew away and had to be caught and brought back inside.So, excellent indoors, not so good outdoors

Very expensive for what you get.

So, this is a single barrel shaped inflatable to use with your foam dart fights. It’s usually on sale for a little over a tenner, which doesn’t sound great until you get one and realise it’s one of the better items in the product range.Why so? Well basically, it holds its shape better than the rest and it’s a good size. All inflatables want to be a round balloon given half a chance (physics!), so if you get a square Bunkr item it will always end up kind of rounded and pudgy because of it. But this cylinder shaped inflatable holds its form really, really well. It’s also a decent height, easy for a kid to crouch behind and waist-high on an adult. The bottom holds flat very well, suggesting that if you get a few of these they’ll make for some really good arena setups. Tempting, especially if you find some on offer.It’s got a couple of other features - the bottom has a bit you can put water into to hold it down better if used outdoors (haven’t tried this); the bottom has a kind of printed target on it (meh); and the top of the barrel has a recess in it that you could stuff a small dart pistol into, or a handful of foam darts. That could actually make for some fun setups, with a bit of imagination...Expect a strong whiff of swimming armbands when you buy these, they’re made from the same kind of material. They have a two stage bung; one wider for using a pump for faster inflation, and a smaller non-return valve built into the bung for that (for finer/slower inflation). They can deflate back down again without needing a pump, though good luck trying to rebox without the pack bulging, they never seem to compress back down quite as tightly as you receive them, unless someone knows a trick for that or has some clever storage solutions.If there’s a single type to buy, go for the barrels. You’ll not be too disappointed.
