I love that this was invented. I hate using throw away batteries so this is the perfect solution. I ordered one for the star on our Christmas tree 2 years ago and it still works great! I needed this for garland lights. Great buy, easy to use, perfect cord length and powers up everything that uses AA batteries!

This is the perfect thing for a battery operated turned electric decoration. Perfect for the Christmas decoration I bought it for. Plugged into a timer, and never had to turn off or on manually. I installed this easily like batteries plugged it in and it worked great! And about expensive.

These power adapters work really well for my Halloween signs and Christmas pictures. They save me the hassle of changing batteries every few days. They're super easy to install, which is a plus since with regular batteries I'd have to take down the art to install fresh ones. I've purchased several of these adapters over the years and they're all sill working flawlessly.

Not going to lie. These were total game changes for me and my house. We have a lot of fairy lights, yes, I have a problem. However, we use these lights for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and basically any other holiday that is made better by festive lighting. However, most of the fairy lights use 3 AAA batteries, and have to be changed once every few days. Doesn't seem like a lot, until you realize that during Christmas, we utilize about 40 fairy light packages around our house and outside. That's 120 AA batteries a week (at least!). So, I bought a few of these, just to try them out... Phew! Great power! Very durable (works outside, so long as you cover the adapter and tape along the connector cable. And just kept lights going the whole season. The cable is long enough to go where it needs to go, and the flat ribbon allows any weather-sealed containers (like outdoor fairy lights) to seal up good! Now, we use them for so many other applications- our spinning discoball, our weather station, our outside "BBQ" sign, our battery operated (but stationary) fans. Seriously. Anything that runs on 3 AA batteries? This thing is like buying a battery that NEVER dies! I've recommended it to a lot of people, and, seriously, most of them didn't even know it existed.

We have a couple of Christmas displays that use batteries. At 3-AA batteries each, it would get quite expensive replacing them constantly. These adapters aren't cheap by any means, but we figure they will pay for themselves in 3 years - if they last that long. After unboxing, these seemed like a better alternative to others I have seen that have very delicate wiring. These have a decent power wire, with the power brick included. The only part I don't really like is the thin ribbon wire that comes off the "battery pack" and connects to the power cable. I suspect the ribbon wire is used so that you can exit the battery compartment and close it without modifications. Unfortunately, that is the weakest part of the design. I am worried the ribbon cable will not hold up long term. If it only lasts a year or two, then the disposable batteries are a better option. Only time will tell. That being said, these adapters work well, and do exactly what the description says they do. We used these adapters on 2 displays, and connected them to a timer. They work perfectly. So far no complaints. I wish they were cheaper in price, and the cable was more robust, but they work. I will update this review if there are any issues going forward.

I didn't even know something like this was available, purchased 2 for 2 Christmas tapestries with led lights that would wear out batteries several times before it was time to take them down. We are in our 3rd holiday season using these & they have performed flawlessly, we plug them in & leave them on until early Jan. The batteries I didn't have to buy & install in these tapestries far exceeded the cost of these very clever little adapters. Very satisfied.
