Fantastic product. Worked really well for me. Used it to compress a super king bed mattress to get it down a narrow staircase when moving house. Easy to fit over the mattress by standing the mattress on its end and sliding the bag on from the top. Then laid it flat, sealed the end and used a vacuum cleaner to compress the mattress. Once compressed, it was easy to roll up and secure with the supplied straps. Stayed compressed for 2 days and survived being handled, loaded and unloaded. When the bag was opened again after the move, it only took a minute or two for the mattress to return to its original size.

Was moving house and needed to move my mattress. The was so easy to use, I did it all on my own and only needed help carrying it up stairs. As a single mum I had to use my mum yo watch my baby while I was packing and then she helped with carrying up stairs.I wasn't able to roll it into a sausage, was more like a very fat folded wrap. It was extremely easy to use. Be warned if you are doing this alone it is like a mini work out :)

The mattress bag had a gaping hole in it straight from the box. 🙄 I taped it up when I discovered it, after I tried to suck the air out the first time round, I had to use A LOT of tape as the hole was quite big. But that seems to have done the trick. I’ll check up on the mattress in a few months to see whether the bag’s any good. But out of the box it definitely doesn’t justify the price!Update Feb 22: bag is useless, the tape did not save it. Mattress now back to its original size. Would NOT recommend!

Cons: The cost is awful, it’s massively over-priced for what it is. Advert doesn’t clearly state UK bed sizes (eg: King, Double, Single). I got the King cos it was faster delivery, but was too big; wish it was the right size for my Double, because it would’ve been more effective in squishing the mattress. Straps could be a few inches longer. Straps should be sealed at the ends (because they fray). It could do with 3-4 straps not just 2. Cordless Dyson wasn’t effective in vacuuming, because the nozzle has a D-shaped gap for click-attachments and lets air through.Pros: It works! Before purchasing, I tried doing my own makeshift vacuum pack (pictured on left), but the real one took an extra third off the size & the straps made it easier to handle. It’s possible to do it on your own (it took me a lotttt of effort though); would be much easier with 2 people. The dual seal is pretty robust.Top tips: With the seal, make sure you pop each silver strip into the black strips (the ‘key’ it comes with doesn’t work effectively enough, so just manually go across and make sure it’s fully sealed before vacuuming). Inside the valve is a small rubber pink plug (I presume the negative reviewers forgot to use this, because it’s not actually in the instructions) – After vacuuming, bung the hole with the pink plug (it takes some wiggling, but when it’s properly inside, you should hear it click, and shouldn’t hear ANY air escaping) – THEN you can screw the cap on. Just make sure when you’re screwing it on, that it’s properly level with the base (took me 2-3 tries cos it’s cheaply made). Had the mattress in it for a week now and it’s not budged one bit.I get what the other reviewer said about the ‘one time use’ vibe, though I think it could be used a second or third time. Am pretty happy with it, just wish it was more around the £19.99 mark which would be far more realistic for what it is. Nonetheless, it did the job, so thank u!

Needed to move a king size memory foam hybrid mattress. This product was fantastic it made the job so easy. The sturdy pocket sprung foam mattress went from air filled to suctioned in minutes. The sturdiness of the bag was great, no leaks and two straps included. We put a large plastic cover over the mattress bag before it was strapped up just for safety in transit. The mattress bag is safely back in its box now in case any of the family need it in the future. Would 100% recommend this product.

I bought two of these vacuum bags for a move. A twin size to fit a UK single mattress; and a Queen/Full/Full XL for a UK king size mattress.The Queen/Full/Full XL has remained relatively well sealed (there is some inflation present), approaching two weeks after move. However, the twin size bag split less than an hour after sealing.I would have given a lower rating were it not for the fact a refund on the twin bag was accepted.+ Easy to use+/- Definitely reduces the size of mattress during moving, but not a feasible long-term storage solution- Price- One of the two bags purchased split almost immediately

I spent some good money on my simba mattress and I wanted to preserve it throughout transportation and 1 month storage in easypod. It’s a huge and heavy mattress and storing it on its side isn’t recommended so vacuuming it worked well. I rolled it and then in case it gets pierced or air fills back in it over time I secured it after rolling with ratchet straps. In two weeks I’ll get my easypod delivered to my new home and I’m hoping it’ll still be vacuumed.

Moved up into a loft bedroom and there was no way the King size mattress was going up the stairs. Thought we might need to buy a new mattress (they come vacuum packed) but then found this on amazon. Was a bit sceptical it would pack down a mattress with a hoover but within 15 minutes we had the mattress on the bed in the new bedroom! Easy to use and much cheaper than a new mattress!
