Great little dehumidifier!
Like many people, I’d found the dramatic change in the weather here in Scotland over the last 5 months to be challenging. We had a very dry warm summer then 2 wet months. As it was mild during the wet autumn I didn’t need GCH on much in my one bedroom flat and noticed a damp smell. I also found I was having to dry clothes indoors a lot and even with windows open still the damp smell and condensation in my shower room after taking a shower. That room was modified even, has 2 large Victorian windows after knocking through to a kitchenette. I mentioned my concerns to my family and my Dad loaned me a small dehumidifier. Wow, I was surprised and shocked by the inch or so water which it had drawn out in its first 12 hour use. Unfortunately my Dads one is no longer available so he recommended the one my Sister has which is this one. I prefer this one to be honest. It’s very stylish, the round shape and top and side vents means it draws water out easily and is unobtrusive in small spaces. It’s super quiet just a slight whir, I’m a light sleeper so I haven’t used it in my bedroom overnight but I dare say it would be ok. I’ve had it on in my open plan kitchen living room while working from home no problem. The cord is generous in length, I do have a 3m extension which allows for better reach. The small size means it doesn’t take up much storage space either if like me space is limited and you don’t like clutter, it fits effortlessly on an eye level shelf in my hall cupboard and takes seconds to set up and put away. I just dry off any excess water and leave the tray out on kitchen roll to dry. I did buy also from Amazon a handy electronic small humidity/temperature gauge so I know when to pop this little guy on and I can see the percentage decreasing as you don’t want to end up using too much although he doesn’t seem to use much electricity either. Highly recommend for flats or smaller homes although you could buy more than one I guess.

Really surprised - good little piece of kit
Its quite small, but super easy to use, and works really well. Really helps keep my office in check, it removed a decent amount of moisture compared to its size.Super easy to empty/use. Its also not very loud so definitely possible to have in the background while working.

Zzzzzzz...........
I work nights so important for me that my choice of Dehumidifier made as little noise as possible. Pleased to say the Omasi is very quiet & I find it quite soothing. I have it on for about 8 hours and sometimes it collects a fair bit of water, and sometimes hardly any. U just need to remember that if the room temp drops to say below around 8 degrees it doesn't absorb much even though the air feels damp. Anything above that temp and you'll be surprised just how much water it collects. Also my electric smart meter shows it uses about 20p of lecy per 8 hours which ain't bad. (Be cheaper at night rate I guess).

have a meaco eco dehumidifier so i I know what good dehumidifies can do that being said this little dehumidifier is amazing i bought for my vwt5 when camping and its damp outside just for at night so i can close windows without condensation.. works a treat as quiet as a small pc fan . it collected 2cm water in 13hrs or so which is mire than enough in camper.. hardwired into vans leisure fuse board via a 12v to 9v 2amp 18w stepdown which operates perfectly very happy.. still working a treat v quiet

Good value, but not as effective as moisture absorbers
We have a bit of a damp problem in our utility room and conservatory (condensation primarily), and have wanted to get a dehumidifier to see if it helps the issue. We currently use moisture absorbers which are good but you have to replace the tabs inside. This says it's good for small rooms so I thought I'd try it and although it works, it takes a long, long time to suck in any moisture compared to what we use already.Pros:• Ultra quiet: it states it has special quiet technology, and they are not lying!• Compact and lightweight design: 300ml capacity tank• Simple design and easy to use: plug in, press power, and that's it• The tank is easily removable and emptied• Energy saving: very power efficient• CE approved: has certification so less worrying about leaving it on for extended periodsCons:• Very slow: I left it on for three hours while my tumble dryer was churning out heat on a chilly evening (condensation galore), and the dehumidifier conjured about 5ml overall• Basic with no timer etc but you get what you pay for - it's good value for what it isSo although it does absorb moisture I'm not sure it's powerful enough for our rooms. It does say it will work in small rooms up to 15 metres squared but personally for a bigger room I'd probably use a more powerful dehumidifier or just stick to other methods. If you want to keep the moisture down in your clothes storage or a very little box room, this would be good, but for us it hasn't really aided with our specific problem so far. It is good value but our moisture absorbers suck in far more water so I'll continue with those for now.

Great little number
Brought this for my daughters bedroom. She suffers from MH ailments and never leaves her room, never opens windows, blinds or airs the room by keeping her door open. I needed something that will stop black mould from forming around her windows. This has worked perfectly. After 2 days of constant use I've had to empty the drawer as it's totally full.... the next challenge is to be 'allowed' to enter her room to empty it on a regular basis 🤦🏼♀️

Easy to use
That's what I needed for my living room! Works absolutely amazing, really clear instructions and it's easy to empty a water container! No mess as I had a few dehumidifiers before and emptying container was totally nightmare.. as in our rented property is still mold and dehumidifiers are a great help. I hope this one will last forever
