Longest lasting purple I've found!
Long lasting! I've been dying my own hair for years and So far I love this brand for the purple. I've used it multiple times and it seems to be the longest lasting purple I've used. I did bleach my hair and roots before dying it with this. But here is a picture of when it is freshly done, vs what it looks like now over a month later with washing it about 2 to 3 times a week, color safe shampoo but I use hot water.I know not every hair is the same but I 100% recommend this brand. I love it!Pic #1 on march 9. Pic #2 and #3 april 15

Vibrant Color! (w/Tips for Application)
Before I explain my method to best to apply this color, let me say that I am NOT a professional colorist or hairdresser. This is simply what I’ve found works well.My natural hair color is medium brown, with a bit of gray coming in. The color I used was PURPLE and I applied wide steaks of color to my hair. I didn’t lighten prior to coloring, but on one occasion had used permanent brown color the day before. The result was a lovely, jewel tone violet. I’ve done it twice and am very pleased! As other reviewers noted, this process can be very messy. The following are a few tips to help control any inadvertent discoloration either during or after using Iroiro semi-permanent color:1. Prepare your hair - wash hair either earlier in the day And allow to dry completely or wash the day before; use minimal or no conditioner and NO styling products. This allows hair to “absorb” color to the fullest.2. Assemble Your Equipment - You’ll need a plain glass/stainless bowl to put the color into; a coloring brush is helpful for application, especially around your face; at least 2 pair of impermeable gloves (one for application, one for rinsing); shampoo and conditioner; clips, pins and/or a disposable shower cap to restrain colored hair; a towel that can either be bleached or is a color that won’t be ruined by excess color; plastic to cover any surfaces and/or your skin that cannot be exposed to chlorine bleach; and most importantly, a spray cleaner containing bleach (I recommend Lysol bathroom cleaner w/bleach). It’s also helpful to have paper towels and/or a cleaning sponge on hand.3. Application - Put the amount of dye you anticipate using into your bowl. If you like, cover your shoulders with an old towel or plastic sheet to protect your skin. You can also use the “clothing optional” method to avoid ruining your outfit. Wear one pair of gloves and apply color to your hair using your hands/color brush in whatever design you like (all over color, steaks, just the ends, etc.). If you drip color on to any surface it will stain, so use a quick squirt of the bathroom cleaner to stop the discoloration. If dye gets on your skin, use the cleaner applied to a sponge/paper towel to remove it.4. Let the Color Set - pin your hair up or use the shower cap to keep your wet/colored hair from transferring dye to any surfaces. Wait the recommended time; I let my dye set for 30 minutes per the manufacturer’s instructions. You can also add heat using a hair dryer on a low setting.5. Rinse - Put on your second pair of gloves prior to rinsing. Also, rinse by bending forward; allowing the excess color to wash over your body will discolor your skin! The best method is to use a handheld shower sprayer and lean over your bathtub. Rinse, rinse and rinse some more...until the water is mostly clear. This may take 10 minutes or more.6. Wash & Condition - Yes, this may lessen the intensity of your color a little. However, if you don’t remove the excess color, it will stain your clothing, bed linens, furniture and even bleed onto your skin when you sweat. Messy, destructive and embarrassing! You may need to wash twice (I do). Again, rinse until the water runs clear. Use conditioner as you normally would. Pat excess water out of your hair using an old towel or one that may be bleached. At this point, I had only very faint color bleed on my white towel. I sleep on white pillowcases and never had any color transfer, even though subsequent washes resulted in colorful suds.7. Style as usual. I recommend using a shine serum (such as Biosilk or Giovanni) to add shine and really make the color pop.Your initial result should be beautiful and vibrant. The one downside to this color is that it fades quickly. It’s noticeable after the first 3-4 washes and continues to diminish with each wash. All brands I’ve tried have about the same color lifespan, as they’re semi-permanent.Pros: Amazing color, smells great. I received many compliments!Cons: Application can be messy, fades fairly quickly.I hope this review helps. Have fun and live colorfully!

10 stars
Perfect color purple with blue undertones. I have tried many many brands and this one wins. NOT reddish purple fading to pink. Dark bluish tone I was looking for. My hair is dark unbleached but have been doing purple for some time. Love this one. Covers roots, doesn't fade that fast, not messy putting on, little bit rinsing. 4 0z did my hair twice, one was touchup. I think I'll have to touch it up a little throughout month but well worth it. Least expensive, best brand yet and I have tried countless others. Put pics but I'm a terrible photographer. Also lenght was not super saturated, mainly wanted to see color before I went crazy. I can't believe it took this long but finally found it. Also I kept in overnight and I use Wen if that helps.

Great hair dye honestly!
I only had this filtered pic to best show what this purple is gonna look like in lighter settings or even in the sun, it’s great and been my favorite so far! My natural hair is almost black and the bleached portions were only done once at the salon. I wanted a subtle and easy to blend dark purple, so this was perfect for that. When first dyed, it’s very dark but after a few washes, it looks like the photo! :) Doesn’t fade into anything ugly either and it lasted a good while. Just be more than careful when dying and washing your hair because this will def stain your skin and shower lol

Super vibrant!
I loved this dye! I got so many compliments on how vivid it was. I usually use arctic fox or manic panic but i loved how hydrating this one was. Im definitely sticking with it for purple!

Sorta vibrant but turns everything purple
So I got this to dye my hair for a cosplay. Sailor mars to be exact. So I'm in my 40s and it really got my grey hairs beautifully.....I have dark brown hair. The rest of my hair looks black but my greys are purple. It turned my tub purple but I know it'll wear out overtime, so not worried. However even dry the purple is rubbing everything purple, my neck, ears, fingers. So definately make sure to wear gloves when doing this or you hands will be stained purple. I left it on about an hour covered with a clear cheapie shower cap. I have long hair and used two packages of dye. I rinsed it til it was lighter purple and it wasn't going to get any lighter. I then washed, conditioned it and rinsed. Alot came out with the shampoo but remember I really saturated my hair so there was alot to get out. I wrapped it in a towel and went on my way. I took the towel off and brushed it. When it dried is when I noticed how my greys took the purple. Soooo pretty. But can't see the purple throughout, my hair just looks black with purple slivers. My issue now is it is turning everything purple. I get an itch on my head and my fingers turn purple. The back of my neck is purple. I sleep in a bonnet to keep the purple contained and not get it everywhere. I just rinsed it again and just used conditioner no shampoo. I just need it to last til Saturday for my con and then I can attempt to wash most out so everything will stop turning purple. Hoping the white of my costume doesn't turn purple.
