The materials seem to be good quality and the shipping was very quick (I ordered on a Tuesday and it arrived Friday.)AssemblyThe unit was very easy to assemble. From unboxing to completion, it took me about 30-40 minutes to put together. You'll need a hammer and a screwdriver. The only tricky element was affixing the top of the case: the plastic sides are very flexible and it was difficult to hold them in place while fitting the lid.Additionally there are plastic clips included which aren't listed in the instrucations as well as other parts that are included in the instructions that aren't used. I have detailed these below.InstructionsThe instructions are quite clear, though are missing a step or two. Here are the steps I took:* Black uprights go into the bottom of the case.* Plastic sides go between the uprights* Affix the top of the case. (I recommend using sticky tape to hold the sides in place - see pictures)* Missing Step - Add transparent plastic clips to front edges of the case to prevent the front panel from sliding. This isn't included in the instructions, but the clips are included in the box and 'finished' images on the Sainsmart site demonstrate where they should go.* Attach handle into front panel using provided screw.* Missing Step - Attach the sticky foam to the bottom of the case (I'm not sure if this is correct, but it's the only place I can see they they should go)Fully assembled, the case weighs 1.6kg and is easy to move around. There is some flex in the panels (given how thin they are) but overall seems solid - however, I wouldn't put anything heavy on top of it. My machine is a 3018, which I have upgraded with larger stronger motors. I was concerned about whether my customised machine's footprint would make it too large to use with the case, but in reality I still has a few CMs of space and had no problem moving the machine in and out. I was able to thread the wires to the control board through both the back panel and side panel openings with no issues.The specifation for the unit lists that the case should reduce the sound by 10db and this is consistent with my own tests: uncovered, my machine with the 20k spindle is putting out 76db on average and when covered this is reduced to 66db on average.Overall, for its price it's a decent enclosure that's easy to install and move around and achieves modest noise reduction. Design-wise, I think the front panel is a marked improvement - no fiddly magnetic strip here which makes assembly much easier.

Ich hätte mir hier für satte 70€ mehr erwartet. Sowohl die Gerüststangen als auch das Acrylglas fallen sehr dünn und windig aus. Das muss mit großer Vorsicht zusammengebaut werden, sonst ist es noch vor dem ersten Einsatz kaputt. Wenn ich bedenke, dass meine 3018 in absoluter Top-Qualität für 110€ daherkam, sind die 70€ für diese Haube ein Witz. Der Materialwert liegt hier wahrscheinlich bei unter 1€.

Der Zusammenbau des Gehäuses für die CNC-Fräse gestaltete sich einfach. Das Gehäude hält nun den Arbeitsbereich nahezu staubfrei.

以前、木材を加工した後　木の粉が部屋中に大変でした。と言う訳でこの商品を購入してみました。アクリル板が薄いので強度は少し気になります。この点は後で天板くらいは補強するかもです。柱になる黒い骨組みはアルミで、細いですが意外にしっかりしています。騒音は動画を撮ってみましたので参考にして下さい。入り口を開けた状態で約60dB。閉めた状態で約45dBでした。粉塵対策で購入してみましたが、音も静かになって良かったです。

エンドミルやドリルの刃が折れて飛んだ時の保護と切削ゴミの飛散防止の機能はありますが、GenmitsuのページのProtection Boxで示す騒音軽減の効果は期待できません。少しがっかり。これで-1ポイントです。
