Does The Trick
I consider myself entertained by this program.As far as simulation accuracy it's not as good as the old SSI Great Naval Battles series, it's geared for video game action. The battlespace is ridiculously close quarters, how often did a aircraft carrier get into gun range with a battleship? Well in this version of WW2, that can happen.But like I said, it's geared for video game action, and it does that. You don't spend very much time getting to the target. It's quite fun flying in at wavetops making a torpedo run, or a dive bombing attack with the tracer rounds reaching out all around. Surface combat is not at all accurate, but the basic tactics are there. The graphics are very nice and do let you slip into the moment.The narration by the commander during the battles is just awful, awful, awful. I think it is the same voice actor that player Charles Beams in the anime series Eureka Seven.Mouse flight control is almost completely useless, a joy stick is a must.

Again, great idea, very poor execution
I love these games for there battle simulations, but every other aspect of the game is tedious... i really wish some more time had been spent refining the overall experience. Perhaps the next one?

Proceed At your Own Risk
Just applied for return and refund. Game appears defective. Does not respond properly to mouse and keyboard controls. Unlike any other game I've put on my iMac, there is no available patch after installation, perhaps because the developer, Eidos Hungary apparently closed its doors over a year ago. Similarly, nobody appears at home at Feral Interactive, since they haven't responded to my request for customer support. My computer exceeds all stated requirements for this game and this is the first time I have had any problems with a game. The most recent game before this was Portal 2, which had no problems.

I love this game get it on the Mac and the graphics are awesome LOL. It's like Call of Duty and Halo BEASTLY combined!!!

Do not download this program for mac
Do not buy this game and download to the max os. It will not work, the programing is wrong. You will get an error and where not open, download or even let you open it. Buy the disc. They need to pull the inst download till they can find the problem
