Very Comfortable
Out of the box ... Love these chaps. The fit and function seems top notch and they are heavy duty with tough material and strong stitching. The clips are plastic but seem they should last a long time if I'm not too rough on them. They fit around my waist comfortably and don't fall down as I move around. There are four clips around each leg. One high at the hamstring and three from just below the knee down. The straps are adjustable so you can buckle close or loose. They fit well over my thick denim pants and I suppose will keep me safe, warm and dry.

Good quality, thick material
I hope never to test the intended purpose of these, but I think they are of high quality with a good design. The outer material feels thick and durable. The padding helps if you have to kneel (I did, on concrete). The 3 straps around the shin just barely fit around a Size 10 fireman's boot (bought at a yard sale). If I wore regular boots there would be extra strap, but it has Velcro to keep it from flapping. The thigh strap snaps easily - I have it just a hair loose. The belt folds and has snaps for short legged people like me. It unfolds up to sit high on the waist of long legged people. The snaps on the straps make it easier and faster to put on and take off than I realized at first - the fist time putting them on was a chore but I was adjusting things and learning what goes where. The easy on/off using snaps is encouraging me to put them on even for short chains saw stints. The wrap around calf is really nice on a cold day (38F) and gives me confidence when chain sawing as well as protecting from brambles. (But you still have to be careful and maybe a bit scared!!) i would buy again if they got stolen. (I do not want to test the safety functions. :)

Well built/comfortable
Very good and breathable even though they wrap around.

Right leg , upper thigh flaps. Strap is too low!
These fit nice. Straps are nylon with velcro tabs. Plastic snap clips to hold straps together. I am 6 ft, 185 lbs. I have slender legs, even up by thigh and the thigh strap is just barely grabbing onto the velcro tabs. The lower leg part is fine, these go completely around the calf and are snug. These go just to the top of my boots, and I ordered the medium, I guess that is ok as I really wanted them for leg protection, I normally don't have my chainsaw near my ankles , but they are somewhat protected. If they were an inch longer, they would be perfect. On to my complaint........ The right thigh strap is too low on the leg. When you strap it around your leg, no matter how much you tighten it, it flaps around because the strap should have been 2 inches higher. The left side is fine for some reason. Not sure if I got a defective pair?? Going to look up other reviews and message the seller. This could be dangerous as the right inner thigh could be partially exposed if you were in the wrong position. I don't want to have to be working and thinking about that flap of leg protection not doing what it should. This strap is sewn into the stitching, so nothing can be done about it, unless you have it professionally altered.....? If anyone else has this problem, I would like to hear about it, maybe I got a defective set. Other than that, they are heavy duty and you feel it once you strap them on!! I have worn cheaper pairs and nothing like this. If the seller Amazon reads this, please let me know any comments.

Satisfactory, except the pocket is flimsy.
Pretty heavy, but ticked the boxes by complying with US and European requirements. As mentioned by a one-star review, the pocket is kinda useless. Don't put your keys in it, 'cos you might loose them. Mine developed a leak the first day of use. if you like the pocket idea, make your own durable one.

What I need/want
I made a mistake of ordering another brand and Class B and immediately sent them back. The class B fit so loosly in the thigh and calf that if the chain were to hit them the apron style chaps would just twist out of the way and offer little protection. Plus on my frame of 6' tall and around 185 pounds the class B didn't offer any inner thigh protection. These Technical wrap cover much more of my inner thigh and can be adjusted so that they should stay in place and offer very good protection if ever needed. 8 layer protection and seem to be well made. I hope I never get to actually test them but feel more comfortable having them. I've used chainsaws for around 50 years and I'm just now getting more protective equipment since I've started using a chainsaw mill and I'm using the most powerful commercial chainsaw made ( MS 881 Magnum in orange and white, can you guess)

Good leg protection for chainsaw work
These seems sturdy and provide good coverage for the legs. They don't completely wrap the entire leg though. Being so heavy, they do make you tire more quickly.
