this is one of the best accessories i’ve bought for my xbox. helps me to type a lot quicker

I bought the chat pad to allow keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Flight Simulator, as I didn’t want a full sized keyboard taking up space, and needed something I can use quickly on the fly when I’m not sat down.It is a simple case of plugging in the USB dongle and holding down the connect button on the chat pad so that it’s blinking a blue light, job done.I binded keys in the simulator control options, as some buttons are obviously missing due to the compact size of the chat pad, but it’s best to do this for ergonomic reasons too, makes it easier to bind more reachable or most used keys.The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because it doesn’t sit perfectly flush on the Xbox controller, unlike the old official MS chat pad.Great value for money, and overall very happy with the purchase.

This is a really cool addition to my controller. It takes a bit of time to get used to the layout and typing, but once you get the hang of it, it works very well. I use it not only for gaming but also for navigating apps like YouTube and Netflix—makes searching so much easier. Definitely worth it if you're looking for more convenience.

It's useful for short quick texts and for a quick type but the buttons are a bit hard to press and don't register great unfortunately
