comfortable and clear
Had these a few weeks now. Excellent battery life. Like many, I live on Zoom and find this headset very comfortable, even after all-day conference calls. They really help in noisy settings with very effective sound cancellation. I'd purchase again. If you run short of USB-C ports for the dongle or the charging cable, then I'd recommend picking up a USB C to A converter as part of your order. Depending on where I am I do find myself short of USB-C ports still, so the converter is handy and the headset continues to be reliable.

Great noice cancellation on the microphone, too
I was looking for headphones with good noise cancellation ON THE MICROPHONE because I work in environments with a lot of background noise - kids crying, people talking loudly, doors slamming, television, lots of loud cars and trucks on the street. Microphone noise cancellation is totally different from the earphone noise cancellation. The MICROPHONE noise cancellation on these headphones is outstanding. I have been using them for about two years now, and they do an excellent job of removing all of the background noise from the microphone so that my voice comes through clear and clean. There are 3 settings for microphone noise cancellation - off, low, high. The earphone noise cancellation is good, too. Even with lots of background noise, I can hear everything in the video calls clearly. The only drawback is that when I first join a Zoom meeting, the microphone does not transmit sound for the first two seconds for some reason. Every time. After that, it works perfectly. This is only a minor problem, but sometimes it's a little awkward because you must sit silently (go on mute or turn off your camera) briefly before speaking at the beginning.

Works really well and the active noise canceling is awesome.

Poor Durability, Fraught with Quality Control Issues.
I have purchased 7 pairs of these over the last years. Half of them were DOA. The problems range from not holding a charge, a loose speaker wire, faulty noise cancelling, failure to connect to the Plantronics Hub, corrosion in the low quality Micro USB Port, the list goes on. You may ask yourself why I continue to purchase these over and over. Well, the sound quality for both the speakers and the Mic is exceptional. If you need to have quality phone calls, and you live the absolute lack of quality control, then these headphone are good. Right now, I purchased a spare set because the team at Poly doesn't seem to have a record of the last pair that I sent back, so they won't send me an advanced replacement. I'm sending the spare back for replacement because it won't hold a charge. I've been holding off making this review for a few years now, hoping they would find a way to correct all these issues. That doesn't seem likely as I purchase my 7th pair in six years. I started selling Plantronics Headphone in the 1980s , and Poly speaker phones in the 1990s, to my business phone system customers. I would have never imagined their quality would suffer this badly.

Good Design but Hot Ears
These aren't it unfortunately. These headphones are really hot on your ears. For me, they give you the clogged ear feel whether noise canceling is on or off. They also seemed to make the sound of my own voice louder. I was really hoping these were my next pair but off to continue the search. Quality and sitting comofort was good.

Warranty with HP works
Had issues with the product and claimed the warranty directly with HP. They're sending a new pair.

I can use it without the Bluetooth option
My work from home computer set provided by my company doesn’t support wireless/Bluetooth headsets. It doesn’t support usb c or usb a either, so the attachment it came with wasn’t helpful. I wanted to see if it was possible to use these headphones wired or corded to my computer set and sure enough it worked. I bought a “micro usb to usb” wire that supports gaming, calls, and overall audio from the brand tobysome on Amazon. It was about $10. Connected the micro usb to my headset and the usb to my computer and I had a working headset! And the noise cancellation still works. I have the noise cancellation at the highest setting which is a 2. I have 4 barking dogs. A husky, 2 American bulldogs, and a frenchy. Very loud and vocal dogs. I live in a house and they stay on the second floor while I work. I’ve tested the noise cancellation feature out while they were barking in unison and it does help to drown them out and it sounds faded or far away but the set doesn’t help to completely cancel the sound out with dogs barking. For other noises such as a low volume tv playing in the background or normal human chatter it does a good job. It’s way better than my non-noise cancelling headphones I had before which was very crystal clear and picked up on everything. I think the price could be lower. Another thing that could be better is the mute button. On this headset the mute button let’s you know when your on or off mute by a simple voice in your ear saying “mute on” “mute off” it would be so much better for other visual effects on the headset to indicate if your muted or not. For example on my old headset when muted you could see that there was a light with a “muted” logo to let you know visually you are muted because sometimes you can forget otherwise. But this headset doesn’t have anything like that. Besides that this is a pretty good headset, I do see some areas for improvement but it does a good job at drowning out most background noises which was my main reason for purchase. That is why I gave 4 stars——— edit: it’s been 4 days since I made this review and have been consistently using the headphones for 7hr shift. These headphones are NOT comfortable for a long period of time, they are heavy duty with a stretch band at the top and your head feels like it is being squeezed. It hurts after having it on for a while. The overall comfort is not great. All in all, for what I’ve paid for these headphones, they are overpriced and should be more comfortable/better features for what it’s priced at. My cheap jabra headphones didn’t even squeeze my ears/ head this much, and I have a normal sized head!! Knocking my rating down to 3 stars. Improvement is definitely required. ****** Edit #2 : I dropped my rating down to a 2.5 stars. I’ve noticed this problem 1 other time before, but it went away, so I just chalked it up to a minor glitch, but NOW, it has happened again! And this time lasted a full day! My headset can not stay on mute for long periods of time without glitching.. i pressed the mute button while I went to lunch for 1 hr. Now no matter how many times I click to get out of it it won’t say “mute off” it just keeps me muted, I’ve tested the mic to see if I can be heard regardless, and no I cannot ! So after being on mute for an hour my headset refuses to work! THIS JUST GETS WORSER !

Great sound and noise cancelling both ways - incoming and outgoing!
These headphones are great for conference calls. I work from home and the noise-canceling feature completely eliminates background noise. The sound quality is very good, and the battery life is more than enough for a day of meetings.

I was excited about the product, until I received it. Realised that the product was previously opened, and items in a mess. Was expecting a replacement set, but unfortunately wasn’t offered that option.

What a great product. Have previously used a more expensive product, but these are just as good. Would highly recommend.

This headset is so comfortable I don't have any issues wearing them for long periods. Great noise cancelling (since I have a talkative bird) and the battery last longer than my last headset.
