Ah yes, the Philips PL-L Linear Compact Fluorescent Lamp — or as I like to call it, His Radiant Highness, Duke of Lumenshire. Upon installation, this rather distinguished chap illuminated my study with the gentle glow of a midsummer’s afternoon in Surrey. At 3500K, it’s neither the harsh glare of an interrogation room nor the dim melancholy of a Dickensian orphanage — simply perfectly poised brilliance. With 1200 lumens of noble light and a 4-pin 2G11 base that fits like a tailored Savile Row suit, it lit up my world (and my laundry room) with effortless grace. One might say, “It’s just a bulb,” but I say, “Nay! ’Tis an incandescent revolution in compact form!” Bravo, Philips. You’ve given my fixtures a glow-up worthy of Buckingham Palace. Good price on a good product.
I bought lamps that use these bulbs about 16 years ago. Had to replace bulbs time since purchase. Great for reading, crafts and very bright. Good product for the price.

Fits the socket. Works. The only question is the longevity...hopefully, it'll last longer than the no-name brand bulb it replaces, which died a (very) premature death.

Bulb has a 15 month warranty but burned out after 5 weeks. Vendor would not provide a replacement or a refund.
