I was so completely pleased with the design, construction (including the materials), and performance of this dispenser that I ordered a second one on May 5, 2023. Unfortunately that second unit did not function properly (actually, at all!). I tried another set of fresh batteries but to no avail. On the package there is a note stating that, if something is wrong, the purchaser should contact the company via an email address. I did so, carefully describing the problem (the company did not even want a picture or video of the defective unit, just the Amazon order number), and received a prompt reply stating that a replacement would be sent to me immediately. This replacement was scheduled to arrive on May 22, 2023. Obviously it arrived well-before that date. I had asked how the company wanted to handle the defective unit and I received a reply telling me to just discard it. Frankly, in today's market, that kind of service is almost unimaginable! Once the unit arrived (last week), the company wrote to me and asked if I was satisfied (and of course I responded in the affirmative). The replacement unit functions just as perfectly as does the first one. I am sure that the defective unit I received was just an anomaly. This company, Upper Echelon Products, is a SUPERB company regarding customer care and customer service. I have not experienced anything like this kind of service in many, many, many years. If you need or want an automatic liquid soap dispenser for a bathroom or kitchen, I strongly - VERY STRONGLY - recommend that you buy this one. Its design, its quality, and, above all, the customer support which you will receive from the company, makes buying this dispenser an extremely wise purchase. That doesn't even mention its performance which is positively first-rate. And that's not even to mention another thing: the price of this unit, currently $27.99 (BEFORE any applicable discounts here on Amazon). In my opinion that price is a BARGAIN for what you get. And you must keep in mind that the manufacturing company TRULY CARES about the satisfaction of its customers. Again, VERY VERY VERY HIGHLY (as highly as I can state) RECOMMENDED. Just arrived 4/2/25. Put it to use quickly. Initial impressions; it’s GREAT! Several key points: - unlike some of the reviews, the Owner’s Manual mine came with is in English. That said, the unit is so simple to operate, I actually didn’t check the manual until AFTER I was using it (I only looked at the manual to see if it was indeed, written in Chinese, and to see if there were hidden features). On the hidden features; not really. Hold the + button for 1s to turn it ON. Figured that one out after installing the batteries. Hold the - button for 2s to turn it OFF. 5 levels of soap dispensing. Press + or - to adjust. - it uses 4xAA batteries. This is something I actually consider a positive vs needing to wait for a built-in battery to recharge. When the small Green LED stays Red, it’s time to replace the batteries. - unlike some other units that use AA batteries and state that you need to use alkaline batteries, as the 1.2v nominal voltage of NiMh rechargeables is too low, and their soap dispenser may not work, the manual for THIS UNIT explicitly states that you CAN use rechargeable batteries in this unit (they just have the standard disclaimer of not mixing battery types). Great. I have a few dozen Eneloop batteries. Yep. It works great with 4 of those. - It’s a nice size, and I like the clear tank, making it very easy to see how much soap is in it. I’m using it at the kitchen sink for regular Dawn dish soap, and it dispenses it with ease - good clearance for hands, or a dishwashing sponge, and the dispenser is indeed no-drip. I’ll update in a few months to a year from now, for battery life with 4 AA Eneloops, and how the unit is holding up (if it doesn’t fail before then).

I like the soap dispenser it works great for cooking (more sanitary). I like how you can see the different color soaps and it worked great from February 2022 up until September 2024. So I got a good 2.5 years out of it when the sensor just only turns red and stops working all together. They don’t make things to last but I’m buying it again because it liked how it looked.

This liquid soap dispenser is excellent! I first discovered it at my sister's house during a recent visit, and knew I had to get one for myself. I ordered two -- one for each bathroom -- and fell in love with them instantly. They function well, and solve one of the biggest problems we used to have with liquid soap dispensers up to that point: big messes and lots of waste by our young children. After buying our first two, I bought two more for the kitchen -- one for hand soap, and one for dishwashing liquid. Aside from conserving lots of soap, my favorite thing about them is that they are hands-free. Now I wish I had a hands-free faucet and an automatic hand dryer. NOTE: Keep an eye on the price. The first two cost me around $25 each, but when I went to purchase the second two, the price increased to $27. I let them sit in my cart for a couple of weeks, and sure enough the price dropped to about $22.

Everlasting Comfort makes the Best automatic soap dispenser I've found and I have tried them all - even the fancy expensive ones! Changing batteries while loaded with soap can be challenging - so I only fill half way. I bought my first 4 years ago and it was in use every day - we even take it in the RV - just turn it off & brace it in the dish drainer when on the road. The first started acting up a little (flashing red for no apparent reason - not giving my husband his required amount - so I bought a new one. This new one has more energy. My only worry is the company will stop making them.

My family thinks we are so fancy now! Honestly, though, this is so much nicer than the pump bottles you can get. Plus, you can use refill soap that is way cheaper. It is easy to use, and easy to keep clean. Of course, I can remember when all we had was bar soap on the sink. Definite improvement!

This soap dispenser works well. Used it for 6 months and then just stopped. After cleaning it up, it worked again. If you find that green led coming on but don't hear the motor and don't get any soap. Try cleaning it out. This worked great for us. I also recommend diluting liquid soap a little to make it flow easier. [Update] - Not long after the last update, it failed to operate again. Not worth the time and money. We got a better brand and have loved it so much more.

I purchased one of these, loved how it looked and initially functioned. After a month, I purchased another one. I really liked this dispenser and received tons of compliments. However, a little after a year or so one of them started making a loud noise as the soap came out. It became unreliable and often didn't dispense soap but only made a noise when the soap was supposed to come out. It's definitely not durable, nor reliable. That went on for a few months and eventually soap no longer came out, only noise. I emptied the soap and changed the batteries, but it didn't help. My husband said it sounds like a faulty motor. At this point, the other one is still working; but I assume that one will stop as well. Due to it malfunctioning and evidently clogging up or the motor defaulting with very little wear/tear and low volume use, I wouldn't recommend this dispenser.
