Economical, reliable watch that can handle conditions that would ruin your phone or smart watch
This is a terrific watch. The large letters are easy to read, the watch tolerates getting banged around and immersed in water, it maintains time very well, and it's comfortable. I never worry about damaging the watch--first, because it resists abuse and, second, because it's so cheap to replace.I use the dual time zone feature, the stopwatch, and the backlighting features regularly. The time is easy to adjust and the stopwatch is quite usable, though it's not as easy to use as some other sport watches.I'm on my third or fourth of these Timex watches. I replace them because the watchband breaks, otherwise I'd probably only be on my second one. That said, the price to just replace the watch is so low that it's not worth replacing the watchband. So knowing the time, this watch is more convenient than a phone and much tougher than a smart watch. It doesn't have to be treated gently, it just keeps on ticking :-)

An incredible back to basics watch
This is really an incredible watch. Its looks awesome; it really is amazing how many compliments I've gotten considering the price. The display is clear, large, and has great contrast. The band is very comfortable. And it has been extremely durable and is still going strong after several months of hard wear. I have many watches including an apple watch S2, skagen, fossil, other Timex watches, Garmin, Fitbit and so on. The apple watch is great except for that in some ways it was giving me a bit of notification fatigue. However, the thing I was missing was a true back to basics watch. I'm an ICU nurse and time is very important. I missed looking at my watch even without even turning my wrist and just seeing the time. This is a sturdy, cheap watch I don't have to baby. One that I can wash many times and not worry. Lastly one of the best thing about this watch is the hourly chime. Such a simple feature but something that my apple watch doesn't even have. So many things at work have to be done on the hour and so I've come to love this rely on having it. Great work timex.

Nice inexpensive watch
I've been wearing this watch daily for a little over a year. I've not made any attempt to baby it, and it still looks like new with one minor exception. The white tick marks and print around the bezel wore off within a month of purchase. By then I had memorized the functions, and didn't need the print anymore, but it did wear off fast. The watch has large easy to read numbers and date on the main screen, but it isn't huge overall. The indiglo backlight is easy to read in the dark. These functions are all I use 99% of the time. The buttons aren't particularly easy to push accidentally, but are easy to operate when you want to use them. The stopwatch works fine, and I've never set the alarm, so can't comment there. I generally don't wear it in the water, but I did leave it on while snorkeling in salt water for a few hours, and that didn't cause any problems. If you need a countdown timer, multiple alarms, multiple time zones, etc. this isn;t the watch for you. If you're looking for a simple, easy to read, digital watch that displays the time and date and doesn't look like you're wearing a hockey puck on your wrist, you can't go wrong with this one for less than $20. If it broke tomorrow, I'd replace it with the same one.Photos are what mine look like after one year. The first photo makes it look larger than it appears on my wrist.

Excellent high-value watch with neutral styling
This has been my go-to watch for just under a year now, and it is excellent. I wanted something affordable, with neutral styling and a few basic functions including alarm, day/date display on main screen, and an easy-to-use stopwatch. This fits the bill exactly. At the time that I bought it, this was basically the cheapest watch with those features, neutral styling, and good reviews on Amazon. I paid $16.84 shipped by Amazon prime, which is an excellent price for this timepiece. The watch has been wet many times, including being submerged when swimming, and has performed flawlessly. It has functioned down to sub-freezing temperatures when some watches with similar displays start to go very dim. I like that you can see from the main screen whether the alarm is set or not. Alarm is plenty loud to wake me. I like too that the user can configure whether or not the watch beeps with key presses. On that note, the buttons are large and function well. All around a great every day watch at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that I occasionally will accidentally set the alarm, presumably just by bumping on things, so I've developed the habit of periodically checking on the display whether the alarm is set or not.

Affordable and functional
I bought this watch because I needed a watch in my transportation job. We are not allowed to operate with a smart watch. Very pleased with its durability and price.

As a watch collector, I say: GREAT watch!
This is a great watch. Light, easy to read, simple, cool looking -- and inexpensive. What's not to like? It keeps excellent time as well. Excellent! I own three of these in different styles -- all are great. I've given a half-dozen as gifts. The recipients (mostly family athletes and medical professionals) love them. It's a Timex, ok. A Timex. It says Timex right on it, so you're not sportin' a TAG Heuer, or an Invicta or an Omega or a Rolex, so park the ego. It costs less than $20. But you'll wear it every day. Just a great watch. If you want to spend $50 or $500 more, go ahead. You'll get the same quality and style -- it's a Japanese watch. They almost always work great. I love Casio and Seiko in this class, but this watch is my go-to. It is the equivalent of your favorite flannel shirt, or baseball cap. As my southern friend used to say: "It don't do nothin' but work."

Sturdy, and does all that it claims to do
I've had this watch for a few months now and it has been great! It looks decent and it a good size in my opinion. It is comfortable, the time is accurate to the second and it serves as my morning alarm as well. It is sturdy and it does everything that I need it to. My only wish is that the Indiglo light would stay on just a bit longer but it does stay on long enough to read the time and that probably saves the battery. Overall, it has left a very good impression on me and it is good for the price, I would recommend if this is the kind of watch you are looking for.

Good Price, Intuitive, Big Watch
The strap was surprisingly comfortable for a rubbery, plasticy strap, I rarely find watch straps comfortable so this is a big bonus for me.All the buttons/menus work like all the previous Timex watches I have owned so easy to figure out.The physical size is larger than I am used to but seems ok.There are 2 magnifying areas on the screen that enlarge the small alarm indicators, a help. The price at around $25 was excellent about half of the big box store.
