It takes a bit to germinate but once it gets growing the results are good. I have put down other products that refuse to sprout. Ease of coverage and good results

I used this to patch up bare areas on my lawn. It grows grass like weeds. It's amazing. After a few days, I can already see sprouts. I almost didn't buy this because I first bought a smaller container to try out and that one took weeks to sprout anything and then it was still pretty thin. For some reason, a LOT of weeds were coming up too. I don't know if that was from the EZ Seed or not. So it wasn't a good first impression. Maybe it was an old batch or something.The later packages were a huge difference. It's almost like instant grass. This was in blazing hot sun and 90 degree plus heat. I kept the patchy areas wet of course. And there was a noticeable lack of weeds, maybe because the new grass was coming in so fast.

This product is amazing! I had used a different brand and it did nothing compared to this. I had some less than ideal soil but this seed took hold and now I have a beautiful lawn. It has grown over 6 inches in the last couple weeks. I am beyond words. I plan on doing more of my yard next year and this will be right at the top.

I bought this after reading descriptions and some good reviews ... didn't give much attention to 1-star reviews. Well, if I could, I'd give this a zero stars review! I am not a novice gardener by any stretch of imagination. So I not only knew how to adequately prepare/loosen the soil and all about watering ... not my first grass seeding rodeo, for sure!Germination: 7-14 days? Not a chance! ELEVEN days later (with favourable temperatures and perfect watering) not a single seed germinated, not single blade of grass emerged, nothing, zero, nada!!! Wasted money and work .... unbelievable and scandalous, both at the same time.So, what now? Spend more money on another seed brand? Seriously, this is beyond frustrating and I am truly angry!Don't waste your money, find a better brand.

Good value and seed was dry and worked great. Apply thicker layer for a fuller look. With gentle watering almost daily, we had grass about 1" in height within a week.
