CrosmanCrosman Squirrel Reset Target, Metal

My son and I love to shoot and this target is a blast! Yes, it's just a couple chucks of metal in the shape of a squirrel...but it's a challenge at 25 yards to hit the kill zone and the reset plate for my boy and he is learning valuable lessons in shot placement, breathing techniques, and windage. Shooting paper isn't very fun because it lacks any responsiveness to the shooter. When you hit the squirrel target you get a very satisfying DING! I as a veteran love shooting this target for that very reason. The quality is spot on too. Thick enough metal that you aren't going to damage it using a 177 or 22cal break barrel or entry level PCP such as the Urban. The paint is thick but will eventually need to be replaced, but that is to be expected. 100% recommend to all airgunners looking for a great way to practice that is more entertaining that punching holes in cardboard and paper targets.

The product appears sturdy and fairly well built. However, some overt manufacturing and QA defects around the connection between the target figure part with the stake where noticed. We decided to keep the article because the manufacturing defects did not appeared to significantly affect the product integrity or general appearance. The target was bought for backyard target practice (18-20 yrds) with a GAMO Swarm Gen3i .22 pellet gun. The reset function of the target works somewhat inconsistently. After about a week and multiple hits, the Crosman CSRT Metal Squirrel Reset Target, seems to fulfills it's basic purpose satisfactorily.

💚 Had this Crosman Reset metal Squirrel since 2023, I keep it up off the ground on a square post 45 yards for my zero point and think it is of good Quality. I think it is thicker then my tree spinner because I use 2 PCP rifles an Avenger .25 cal and an Avenge-X .22 cal. The 25 cal may be to much for it because it doesn't state anything over 22 cal 950fps and the Avenger 25 cal has a 48 Ft/lbs and goes about 889fps with my settings Reg 2500 HS 5+ on the heavy loads and faster on the light loads but then again it’s 45 yards away used for my zero point. I try to take an updated picture of it but so far it’s holding up and looks good but keep some 2 color cans of paint so you can see where you hit it and I love it.

A great little plinking target. I shoot at 20-30 yards and it has held up well. My daisy 880 has no issue with the initial knock down target, but struggles a bit with the reset at a little under 20 yards. Loosening the bolt a bit so that it moves loosely is recommended for lower powered air rifles. My .22 Umarex had no issue at all resetting it at 20-30 yards. I had to tighten the bolt back up a bit as the force from my more powerful .22 actually caused the swing mechanism to slip and it works perfect now. I now use it primarily for plinking with my .22 and it works fantastic.

Cool target but not tough enough, target really bent badly after first day and it won’t reset as designed to do by shooting the lower target.

Absolute bargain for 2 well made and solid targets

I love crosman products and this one doesn't disappoint. The paint does wear off but hey you are shooting at it lol keep a can of spray paint handy and you are all set. I have had this outside all summer through tons of rain and the mechanism still has never failed! For some great reset target fun get this. It's cheap durable and fun to shoot at.
